Welcome to Alive & Thriving! Kelley Bollen here to help you learn how to better care for the animals in your shelter.
Alive & Thriving is a program of Humane Network, a non-profit animal welfare consulting organization. The Alive & Thriving program is designed to educate staff and volunteers at animal shelters about animal behavior as it relates to the shelter environment. Alive & Thriving Director Kelley Bollen, MS, CABC is a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant with a Masters Degree in Animal Behavior who has worked in the animal welfare field for over twenty years. Kelley provides educational seminars and consulting services to animal shelters around the country. This You Tube channel contains educational videos that help viewers better care for the dogs and cats residing in your animal shelter. The videos describe safe and humane animal handling practices that should be used while caring for the animals at your shelter.
