TBS Crossfire Teardown and Repair of Intermittent LED Flashing / Flickering
This is a repair of my TBS Crossfire Transmitter that had an issue with the LED flickering all colours (Red / Green / Orange/Yellow) intermittently.
I believe this issue occurs because the RGB LED gets hot being mounted on the back of the RF module. It is only rated to 85˚C in its absolute maximum ratings. The internal junction may get much hotter than this when the heatsink gets hot with improper ventilation (which was my fault in this case).
Apologies that I don't capture the desoldering/re-soldering of the LED. I currently don't have a stand for my phone and the soldering process takes 2 hands.
The replacement LED I used is a WS2812B RGB LED.

Mazda 3 SP23 (2006) 105,000kms. Fully serviced. Noise started around 80,000kms and is gradually getting worse. I'm most concerned with the deep hammering sound rather than the ticking. Highly suspect big end bearing in No1 cylinder.
