Ponderosa Garden Adventures
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 1 ส.ค. 2022
Welcome! We are passionate about sharing our love of gardening. We live in northern San Diego County in USDA zone 10A. Our fantastic weather allows us to garden nearly year round so there is always something going on. We share planting from seed and starts, developing new areas of our garden and as you know a garden is ever evolving. Whether you are a new gardener or a seasoned gardener we hope you will join us in our gardening adventures. We'd love to hear from you so tell us where you garden and what are you growing or about your garden successes or challenges. We love to talk about gardening!

Join Sharon on a quick tour of our garden. It's weathered some frosty nights, warmer than usual daytime temps and high Santa Ana winds but you can still see some winter color and evergreen interest to enjoy. There's still lots of work needed to get this Zone 10A garden ready for Spring!

Your garden looks great! I have a Tiffany rose as well, and I think it’s my favorite in my garden. The scent is just the loveliest 🌿🌸🌿
Thank you. I think Tiffany has the truest rose scent.

I have admired the Blue Chiffon. It's very pretty. I hope it grows well for you!
Beautiful 🍓
Thank you
I am waiting patiently for my local nursey to get strawberries in. That's a beautiful planter! 🍓🍓🍓
So nice of you
What a great way to spend Valentine’s Day!! 💐
Yes it was!
Looks good! Keep up the good work!
Some solid picks. Thousands of peppers out there if you want to try something less common
I start all my super hots in November. In the green house. Some good choices. Loved the list. Pepper X, from the breeder of the reaper, beat the reaper in 2023. 🥵🌶🥵🌶 Hello from southern Louisiana.
Learnt from a video a while back and it seemed to work, 2-3 days before harvesting stop watering the plant. That increases the heat.
Great informative video 👍🏼🪴😊
Glad you enjoyed it
I found your channel about 2 weeks ago and immediately subscribed cuz I'm also southern California zone 10. There are not that many gardening channels that accurately portray our zone's challenges. Thank you for validating the losses this year. During that Feb freeze we had, I also lost a lot of established plants. The biggest disappointment this year was the May gray and June gloom that didn't go away until Aug. I live more coastal than you. But lessons learned and hopeful spirits for our 2024 gardening season. PS. Do you winter sow? Love to see how you do it cuz I've got problems there too!
Coming over from Janey’s channel! I was featured on zone 8. I have a TH-cam channel too! I love your garden!!
❤🎉💜💚💙🙏🏽🙌🏽 blessings, great day happy and blessed Thursday! This is so awesome love you keep doing what blesses others and makes you happy
