Sooner High School Varsity Choir 1971. From their album with 12 other selections. Director Noel Kaiser
I have the whole album digitized. One of these days I will post the other tunes.
Rosalyn, I posted a photo of the choir on the Sooner71 Facebook page. 2019 July 13. You are in the front.
@@jasljacoby2 Yes you are correct! If it’s the picture on my album that we had taken at the Kane’s home along the road by Hillcrest CC. Thank you.
@@jasljacoby2 when you do, I’d like to know so I can share the link with those I know who would love it. I can still play my album but not as convenient.
This is my high school choir!!! Thanks Jim for sharing. These were some of the best memories.
Great
We sang this after 9/11 during my freshman year. Devastating
Clarence IA Community HS about 1971
I've been looking for this for years we sang this in one of our annual concerts (in High school @ Hamiltion Sr High in 1975 or 76.) from the back of the auditorium when the audience was watching the stage awaiting the next performance. The only song in the concert that we sang without a director. Thanks for posting.
Jim, what an awesome find. I recently ran across an LP record that I had saved from my high school choir days (1956-1958) and of course this song was on it. We sang it every year and even today, it can move me to tears. My record is a little scratchy so it was wonderful to find yours. Thank you for sharing it.
could you share what software you use for recording this tutorial.
I used Adobe Photoshop for the drawings, Adobe Captivate to capture the video and Adobe Premier to edit and publish the video
Actually, the furnace produces the Very High Pressure Steam, which is used in the downstream processing by turbines. But, this steam is produced by waste of energy. Right?
This was my favorite song from the Louisiana Allstate Choir concert at Francis T. Nicholls High School in New Orleans (performed on Nov. 19, 1956). Rehearsals were on the LSU campus, and the director was Dallas Drape. What an atmosphere, and what a song!
The LSU choral director's name should be Dallas Draper.
I too sang this in high school in the early 70's. Love hearing it again. Loved singing it, especially as a low bass. Still hear it in mind almost 50 years later.
What High school did you attend, we sang it in the 70s in High school under the direction of Robert Fox, in Milwaukee WI.
I was in All Regional Chorus in 1978 when we did this piece. I have not heard anyone else perform this work since then. Thank you for posting it.
nice we are doing same in our Petro chemical plant
A mousepad would go a long way
what is a mousepad?
Thank you for posting this. I haven't heard this since my high school choir days in the early eighties.

Great again
Great!
I know this kind of device is underappreciated and not often noticed but I think that heater jets beautiful. No moving parts apart form the regulator valve, just a simple jet of heat.
