We took a spontaneous trip to Rainbow River, so I spontaneously made a song to go with it.

I was in the middle of changing jobs and we had a month with no insurance, so I saved myself a little money and cut my cast off. I put it in a boot immediately after, so I don't want to hear any jibba jabba!

We moved across the country from Albuquerque, New Mexico to St Augustine , Florida while my wife was 7 months pregnant and I had a broken ankle that was 1 week old.

We went with some friends to explore Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon. Lake Powell is the result of Glen Canyon being flooded by the Glen Canyon Dam. Arroyo drainage ditch that runs through Albuquerque, NM. Nearly 2 miles of perfect cruising. - My lady friend wrote that. I broke my ankle in this ditch not long ago, so I'm editing all of the video clips that I've got saved up while I sit around and eat pain killers. Yeeeeewww!

Scary part is you don't know if it's time for the cast to come off because when you get it removed by the doctor they take an X-ray most of the time people people are fine but like 30% of the people have to get recasted 🥶
Dang, I would have gotten out of that slot the minute I saw a trickle of water. Flash floods are no joke and the 11 tourists that died in Antelope went down on a completely sunny day. Nice footage though…nice adventure for you.

What is this insurance about? We have govt. hospitals which doesn't charge a penny from the patient. Only for medicines, with a discount of 70-90%.

Great! I barely remember most days that I've even broken it. Getting into cycling really helped with the recovery.

People go to Antelope canyon every day, dunno what's up with the misleading title. There are many other equally awesome slot canyons in the area
This is crazy. I can’t belive that a country as America would leave their people hanging like that, just because they can’t afford incurance. People should’nt be reduced to these kind of things when it comes to healthcare. I’m from Belgium, here anyone can go to the hospital for any reason, and you will always be helped, no questions about money even asked. A large portion of the bills are payed by a institution (yearly fee, about 50 euros per person). The cut that the institution does’nt cover will be payed out of pocket (usualy just a couple of euro’s) or via an incurance (about 150 euro annualy, per person) This institution also pays about 80% of every doctor visit, and payes our payechecks when we can’t get to work because of our health.

@@elih4707 follow me here: we have tax rates between 30 and 55%, depending on your earnings. The more you earn, the more tax you will pay. Average wages in Belgium are way less then tje average wages in the US (€1500 -> $1800) But yet still, we have the same living standard as in this example you Americans. Maybe even better. The tax rates pay for our social benifits. I really think our system is better for the general welbeing of the population (especially for those on the lower class). Everyone can get proper healthcare, without constantly being affraid if they can pay the bills afterwards.

Got ballz man. You had surgery to. What you do is you go in and tell them you have no insurance and tell them you want to pay cash. Tell them you only have 50 bucks on you now and they'll bill you. When they bill you, dispute the bill and try to settle for a reasonable amount.
