🇬🇧 🚘 🇫🇷 Driving with children from UK to France - is it worth it?!
มุมมอง 11121 วันที่ผ่านมา
Join my family as we take on the epic journey of travelling with two young (active!) children in an electric car from the UK to France. I’m not anti-screen at all but we wanted to do this car journey with no iPads as they actually make our kids car sick. And we managed it! See the activities that worked for us and how we found driving in France with children in tow. Here is an honest account of...

😊this is so different from the American baby signs. More is pressing all the fingertips of both hands together. Please is open hand circle flat on the chest. And sorry is a closed fist circled flat on the chest wow, I didn't realize they were so different in Britain.. a nice video but we can't use this one
Isn’t it fascinating that English speaking countries have such different signs? Same with AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language)
❤
Hi I deaf I can't speak 🙃 😔 I use coclar
🤯😢 but then such happy memories. A beautiful place !! We loved it 😊
The happiest of memories! Feel so lucky to have spent a lovely summer there ❤ ☀️ Totally worth the journey xxx
❤❤❤❤
Awesome signing Maeva❤🙌🏻
The best! 🩷
When I was tidying up our play area in the living room, it worked perfectly quietly! It's easiest when I can clean on my own in the evening 😌 Only the last balloon flew around in circles, funnily enough. Best regards!😊 🙌
Thank you so much for the wonderfully helpful hack without scaring anyone in the house! Although the balloons are always fun at a birthday party, they can easily become a source of danger for the little ones if they just roll around afterwards. We'd be happy to include them again after the next party. 🎉🤗 Best wishes and have a great weekend! 🥰❤️
So glad it is useful to you too! It was a game changer for us!! Have a lovely weekend too 🩷
@@BabySignTVThank you! Can you record it again after your next birthday party? ☺️
❤❤❤❤
We live in Broadstairs, on the border of Ramsgate, so best of both worlds. There is a vibrant music scene in Broadstairs with several festivals throughout the year. The Easter and Halloween trails through the town are great for children. They have fireworks on the beach in the summer as well as Nov 5th. Folkweek in August is also a huge event with something for all ages. There is music on the bandstand everyday in the summer and then weekends only. They also hold two food festivals a year. There is a real buzz in the summer but then the calm of the off season can be quite welcoming. If you love Ramsgate harbour then you must visit in December when all the boats are lit up for Christmas and you can sit in one of the cafes in the arches with a hot chocolate. Ramsgate too have their festivals and also a carnival. Its definitely one of the best decisions we have made to move here 11 years ago. I hope you make it some day.
This is such an amazing list - thank you! It all sounds beautiful and I am so envious of where you live. Can’t wait to come back at Christmas and see the boats lit up, u didn’t know about that! Thanks so much for taking the time to reply x
Good morning?
Ето треха хил😅
I've spent many short holidays all over the year in Ramsgate, in Margate and in Broadstairs in the last 7-8 years. I remember our first visit to Margate, I honestly tought I will never go back because I didn't feel safe there. Years later we were in Broadstairs and we decided to visit an exibition in the Turner Museum and there are a lot of changes in Margate you can see the invested money and the care. Since than I'm happy to visit and every time we spot something new like the Ramsay & Williams ice cream shop or the amazing crab museum. I would mention one more thing ....the seagulls in Broadstairs...they can be very naughty in the sommer season, we've never managed to enjoy a picknick on the beach or in a park because they attacked us many times.
These are really really excellent points. I’d forgotten about the seagulls, I remember some signs up in Broadstairs now saying ‘Beware of Thieves in the Air’! We also saw a man loose the plate of chips he’d just bought in a beach cafe to the seagulls. He put the plate on a table and went back to the bar to collect his drink… about 20 seagulls descended on the plate and the chips were gone in 5 seconds!!!

It’s… MILK!!! It is the same sign for either breast or bottle feeding. Did you get it? Drop a ✌️ if you did!
And just wondering how to say is this yours in sign language?
I’ll do a video but it would be pointing to the object and then signing ‘yours’ and your facial expression showing it is a question! 🩷

An amazing insightful interview!!!
Thank you for listening. It was so lovely to chat about Baby Sign!
You signed father not daddy. Daddy is signing the Letter D and tapping twice. Idk how this vid got into my feed but I'm a coda lol 😂
Hi, is this regional? We use the F for father for Daddy as many other do. My sister was born profoundly deaf and I have hearing loss so we’re very much immersed in the Deaf world too. www.signbsl.com/sign/dad
@@BabySignTV Not sure but I know your using BSL and it's both ways tbf, but the way I've always seen Daddy been signed is using the letter D twice.
Only one example of your sign here. I think both are used: www.signbsl.com/sign/daddy Thanks for watching!
@xBoxBoOmer agreed 😊 a D letter makes more sense but what I was taught as a child is stuck in my brain! Plus I think the F shape is easier for little hands to make (I see babies/ toddlers will sign it with one palm on top of the other at first) whereas the D shape is too much dexterity at a young age, but I like both and I’m generally just happy people are signing - whichever they use ❤️ xx
@@BabySignTV idk if that makes any difference but ideally Father is typically F. I just always used D and so did my siblings when signing Dad but the majority would use F as you've shown. I think if you're signing Dad or Daddy to someone who's not family it's better to use the traditional F as in father (this is my father sort of thing)
