    I have been making up one 16 oz. glass of carrot juice, including celery and a handful of spinach ....all organic for the past 10 years. I am almost 85 years old and believe it or not people think that I am in my 60's. I use an Omega upright juicer. I have NEVER turned orange or orangish and I read that it happens when someone's kidney's are compromised and that it eventually stops. Read the booklets by Dr. Norman H. Walker, Dr. of Science. They have been my go to reading all of these years. He was at the forefront of the whole juicing movement beginning in 1921.

      It shouldn't be an issue. I do recommend gradually increase the quantity until you reach two glasses. Just to see how your stomach reacts.

      For a slim person, yes. Just don't make this a meal replacement, if your goal is to gain weight. For someone with stomach issues - depends on what issues you are talking about. I don't know your history, your diet, so always talk with a nutritionist or a doctor if you are not sure. You can always try just a small quantity, to see how your stomach reacts. Everyone is different, so you won't know until you try it.

      Sorry to hear about the potential tumor.... While this juice can help, A proper diet is also very important. And I believe the right mindset is crucial. I would recommend reading some of the books of Wayne Dyer, as well as Joe Dispenza

      You can leave the skin on, if the cucumber is organically grown. So no pesticides used. Otherwise, I would peel them. Or wash them really really well, maybe add a bit of baking soda in the water, and let them sit for 1 minute

      there isn't a limit, but you can start with 1 or 2, see how you like it , You can definitely mix them with an apple, to make them more drinkable. And yes, you can drink it every day without any worries.

      Hey Helma. Sorry to hear it id not go down well for you. This is possible, and it sounds like your body does not like the beet juice. Best to stop drinking it, which you already did. If you really want to try juicing, start with a milder combo, such as carrot and apple. See how that goes. Maybe mix it with a bit of water, so it's not that concentrated.

      Hey there! Thanks for the question. A great one. Adding water to fresh juice can actually speed up the oxidation process. That's because when you add water to juice, it exposes more of the juice to oxygen, which can make it oxidize faster. It also dilutes the juice, which means that the concentration of antioxidants and other compounds that help prevent oxidation decreases, so the juice can oxidize more quickly. However, if you drink the juice immediately, then there is no need to worry about oxidation. So if you do add water, then it is best to consume it immediately. If you plan to store it for a day or two, then jsut follow the tips in the video. And you can add water after you take it out from the fridge, right before you drink it

    I didn’t hear any mention of caution because of kidney stones with too much beet juice. Also I’m confused at the term beetroot? We don’t say carrot root or potato root etc,etc.Im 79 yrs old and always referred to beets as beets. Have I been wrong for 79 yrs?

      Hey Dale, thanks for the comment. I can understand the confusion regarding beetroot vs beet. They are both correct, but with beets, the leaves can also be juiced, and eaten. Unlike with potatoes, for example. You can't eat the potatoes stems and leaves. That's why beetroot is preferred. But either way, you are fine

      They really are full of benefits. If you have them, definitely start adding them into your diet. I like to add them in my morning oats, (or smoothie). If you use them whole, better let them soak over night (or at least 30 minutes) in water / vegan milk. Or, I grind them using a coffee grinder, then I add them in my smoothie. I found it makes them more digestible.

    Well, will just eating them from jars & cans do? B/C that’s my thing. Not going out to spend $ on what I have a lot of on the shelf all the time. I like it as a snack, or dessert. Better than cookies or chips. So I always have them around. Much cheaper than buying the root juice too, I’m sure. Some of us are on tight budgets.       That can work as well. Better than not eating them at all, that's for sure. Jsut make sure that the canned beets don't have sugar in them, and weird preservatives. Which might be the case. Of course nothing beats raw beets ;) But if you don't have a juicer so you can make your own juice at home. Buying fresh juice every day can get expensive, that's true. Another alternative to canned beets is add them in salads. Grate them finely, and add them into salads. Or boil them, slice them into cubes (or again, grate them), with some olive oil and a bit of salt on top, they make a nice side dish, or into a warm pasta salad.

    I drink beet juice almost every day! I have diabetes! It works well it won't bring you back 100% but close. Black grapes blueberries mix but heavily on the beet juice!

      Not a coffee drinker, but I think it's better a nice carrot juice instead of coffee, with milk, sugar etc.

      Glad to hear that. Beetroot juice is healthy, but not it's not a miracle juice. the most important thing is having a healthy diet, eliminate animal fat, dairy, and balance everything.

    I m taking beetroot juice since 2 months but since the day i started consuming this juice i got alot of acne on my face and deep scars dont know why??😢

      Everyone's body reacts differently. We are all unique. Have you tried eliminating it from your diet for a week or two? To see if that helps stop you form breaking out. My thoughts are: depends on what beets you're using. It might be that they are not organic, and if the fertilizer used to grow them was a harmful one, artificial, that is absorbed by the plant, and ends up in your body. Which causes your face to break out. Just a theory. Try using only organic, bio produce, and see how that goes. But, I would stop drinking it for a while. And observe the changes.

      are you referring to the leaves as well? I never tried those. It's a lot of fiber in them, true. But with juicing, you're eliminating 90% of the fiber, sooo... it might not be worth spoiling the taste of the juice with the leaves
