I have to ask was this a six pack and a puff puff tutorial? You seem very very distracted. Or are you burning time to make it a hour video? lol😂😂😂
is there any way to create watersheds up to specific limit of area? Lets say watersheds up to 1 Km2?
Thanks!
You’re very welcome!
well done
Thank you! 🙏🏼
You are absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for your time. I am learning so much. Thank you again.
You are most welcome!
The video cuts off at the end.
good work
Thank you! 🙏🏼
I need to create an assembly. A detention tank.
loving yuh tutorials bro
Appreciate you!
Top Tutorial, greedings from Germany.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks!
Thank you for your generosity!

i think sir i am on the correct path, i will be back happy new year
You got this! Happy New Year!
I just tried opening a new window without using the tutorial file. Why can't I see the Geolocation in the tab?
The Zone / Datum needs to be set in the drawing settings for the geolocation tab to appear.
where can i get the exercises??
They are located on your hard drive within your C3D installation. There is also a link the the video description
Useful video ❤
Glad you found it helpful!

Hello, do you do a video on building a formation surface from a finish surface at variable surface depths for machine control and calculating volumes? For example, carpark at 2ft deep from finish level, Topsoil areas 6inch deep from finish level and building pads 1.5ft deep from finish level. I have tried this from creating a cropped surface. But all this does is enter the cropped surface into a new drawing, ideally, I would like all the surfaces in the same drawing. Also, I’m looking at merging all the formation depth surfaces into one combined formation surface. What commands would we use to do this? I hope this makes sense.
This video and your corridors ones saved me! Just had a CAD assessment at a firm i applied for, and it covered exactly those things. Thank you so much!
You are most welcome! Glad they helped.
Good explanation, looks easy, thank you👍
Thanks for watching!
Sir I have a question for you. For a large size project I have had doing grading for Earthwork calculation as well as finished ground surface using a common site. In the beginning everything works good. But in the end some gradings are seems to be missed or disfigured. Please help..
When starting the Map Export via command _MAPEXPORT, or Map Import via _MAPIMPORT in AutoCAD Map 3D or Civil 3D, the following error is displayed: AutoCAD Map Warning : Module AcMapImpExpUI.arx cannot load module AcMapImpExp.arx. The Module may be missing or another component upon which it depends may not be configured correctly. How can I solve it? Help me please
I couldn't find the exercise file
I wish it was this simple. Often time, nothing happens when I select a closed polyline to make my hide boundary. The polyline becomes highlighted when I select it for hide boundary and nothing happens.
This told me exactly what I needed to know. Thank you.
You're most welcome! 🙏🏼
I am a survey Engineer, your insights are great. Thanks
Thank you for the kind words!
I appreciate your videos so much. I've been handed the task of learning Civil 3D for our office and it's a steep hill to climb. But your videos are a HUGE help. Thank you!!!!
You're very welcome! It can be a tough one for sure!
mine doesn't show in table format rather it shows like a bunch of code
Hello, could you please help me to open DWG file?
Of course, which version do you need to open the file?
I am working in a district heating related company and I've been playing with Civil 3d from time to time for the past 2 years. It seems as in the year 2025 I will be able to dedicate more time to this software and then present to the company what benefits it might bring... Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I've watched quite a lot of your videos up to this point:) Cheers
You’re very welcome! And good luck in your journey!
Thank you for this much effort !
My pleasure!
Hi Charles, can you tell me how to create Rectangular Storm drain with top cover?
I love these tutorials! A bit higher video capture quality would make it easier to see the finer details of your screen... but I can roughly make out what the different figures were
Thanks for the tip!
@@CIVIL3D You're doing great! Learning Civil 3D is a steep hill to climb. (At least it is for me!) I've tried it before and never got very far. I have been viewing countless how-to vids recently, determined to finally learn it. Your videos are some of my favorites! I have bookmarked many of them. Thank you!
Thank you. It's very helpful.
You are welcome!
Love this channel, currently a civil designer, so am going to be converting my drawings in to 3d know. Tire of of redrawing my profiles when i get comments from the City of houston. Thank you again for this tutotial.
That is awesome!
Thank you so much
You're most welcome 🙏🏼
Thank you so much boos. It was easy to understand the basics through your lecture, really appreciate your work. is it possible to make a lecture on LONGITUDINAL PROFILE OF WATER SUPLY SYSTEM (PIPELINE)
Thank you! I will keep that in mind. The oil and gas pipeline course would be good to reference. It applies a lot of the same principles.
wouldn't the join command be more efficient.
Thanks alot
Most welcome

Thank you sir! 🙏🏼😊
great video but the tec-no music sucks
Thank you for your support 🙏🏼
Hi, can you share dwg file
Unfortunately not for the live stream.
I want to working on pipe netwrk.. How to prepare this drawing of catchment areas and road line?
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Hello, thank you, but I have a question. When I exit the program, everything returns as it was. I want to save the codes that I put in the program forever. Is there a way?
I need help pls.... The match line in my view frame is not exceeding station 0+570....... And I want the matchline to be exactly at 0+600
Have you tried to grip edit the match line and slide it to the 0+600 station?
@@CIVIL3D Sliding the match line using the grip edit is exactly what I did. But first, you need to reposition your view frames by selecting them and using their grip points to move them and rotate them. Then you should be able to move the match line by selecting it, clicking on the grip and sliding it over.

Glad you liked it!
This was good timing, I just started as a new grand civil engineer and I’m starting to work with civil 3D surfaces with no prior experience other than 2D CAD. Thanks!
Very cool! Good luck to you!
