Sara dear, even with a smallest item like a single fidget, you will end up paying Amazon to get rid of inventory & in ads. You will hardly make back your investment. Yea, Amazon wants you to have a trademark now, new rules. Otherwise your product brand name will display as generic and anyone can list on the same listing and under cut your price! So it’s death spiral, don’t bother at all if you are not getting trademark.

Been the case for the last two years, it’s to discourage this behaviour of hijcking listings & undercutting other sellers. You want to protect yourself then you have to have trademark & brand registry.

@@zamzammohamed7907 that’s one of the biggest issues!! Thankfully I have vendor access and I am just shifting a lot to that! True story… Some lady retuned a bag after using it in her engagement party and left her engagement ring in it and then emailed us if we seen!!! The flipping audacity!! She was already refunded obviously by Amazon!!

It’s per click , you are right there. Amazon works on second price auction so you could pay just a little less then 97p but to win you have to bid high! If that makes sense. You could bid 1.05 to win and end up paying 92 p. These prices change based demand and supply from sellers. The more people bidding drives the price up just like at any auction.

Amazon offers pay per click advertising to sellers to help sell the product.

Absolutely, you place the order with the supplier & they deliver to Amazon FBA facility. Using their preferred carrier like UPS.

It’s gated in many marketplaces to begin with, I know it is in the UK, this means you won’t be able to sell in the clothing category. Secondly, you have to purchase size packs of a style so some sizes will go faster than others, higher risk of unsold inventory & higher return rate if you don’t address it in your packaging! High return rate is an issue in all fashion products, a lady once returned the bag after using it on her engagement ceremony and then asked whether we found her ring in it!! 😭 To run a fashion brand you need a different mindset, it works a little differently than other products.
