I love this guy, Buddy! He is the country lyrics comparison to Frank Zappa because of the offbeat and unexpected direction of his lyrics and the satire. He got my attention about 10 years ago and I had never heard such lyrics and satire that I thought he was a parody! He is the real deal and I can listen to his works for hours!

Finally got a copy of this record. It's something to me.

Listened to some of this, but like the lady that asks "where's the beef?" I'm asking, "where's the steel guitar?!?!" The grinding steel guitar gives it that real country sound. I'll pass on this album, but he does have a good voice. Songs aren't great, and NO STEEL GUITAR!!!!!!!!!

Amazing record i first heard of Stanford Clark from a "beating on the bars outlaw country compilation and the first song i heard of his was "nothing to me " so when i found this album i was completely floored by it !! Amazing record for sure
