The issue is the limited server count for the game mode. People can’t just choose to leave the server that has a group running around killing solos and join another one. If that were a viable option these groups would be fighting tooth and nail to find each other on a populated server, all the while the majority of solo players aren’t being bothered by them because it would realistically take forever. Another thing they should be doing is server selection logic where you can’t join people on your friends list while keeping that logic under wraps so the general playerbase has no idea what’s keeping them from joining the same server as their friends. The devs didn’t make this on a flimsy thought, they made the gamemode based on critical feedback from a large chunk of their playerbase. There are a LOT more players on Path of Titans than the regulars and randos you see on official servers. As someone who frequents both official and community servers and as a solo player the overwhelming majority of the time, the issues they’re trying to address are genuinely critical problems that need fixing if they wish to maintain the large playerbase they have. I myself have gotten sick of the game because of its repetition in these fronts. It’s always a mixed species and mixed diet herd on officials covering every conceivable weakness one player could have and bullying them to the character select screen because “how dare you breathe our simulated air”. It’s not fun, it really isn’t. A lot of my most recent time in the game has been spent on deathmatch servers because somehow dealing with a few people in that environment is way more tolerable than dealing with 14 people all broadcasting your location to each other just to hunt you down because they have nothing better to do. It’s a fundamental problem for what is technically a minority, though a large one. If these game modes weren’t conceived, a lot of players would have dropped off. The game could have potentially died off due to the neglect of these kinds of players. It *is* a dinosaur game where you pretend you’re a dinosaur, with friends or without. It’s gonna attract the less social people because as an autist myself I can vouch for a lot of my kin in that regard that we fuckin love dinosaurs. They’re awesome. There’s literally not much else cooler than dinosaurs besides John Cena or boobs 😂 but what’s not cool is having your dinosaur you spent a week growing in your free time get systematically hunted down by coordinated young adults with nothing better to do in their time spent on the game that beat you in weight, damage, numbers, statuses, speed and available terrain advantages. Your channel is pretty damn dedicated to official servers so I reckon you don’t spend a LOT of time on community servers like I have, but the same problems exist there but with the twist of only herbivores being allowed to mix species, which is still a very unfair advantage that is abused en masse and makes carnivore players, especially the solo ones, suffer needlessly. And that’s on the servers that have the most rules. It’s kind of ridiculous. You can’t balance a game around groups of people working together and then expect the solo players to thrive while giving them limited tools that can also be utilized and abused by the very groups they’re meant to counteract. It’s a hard thing to work around and I give props to the devs for actually listening.

What sense do you run

What do solo servers even add to the game? People don’t use the group system half the time anyways so they can heal easier

A recommendation from someone who knows how to play relatively "well": never use the stomp with Sucho because you give away a lot (from the beginning of the video)

Just take the social list out of lobbies.

People are so bad at the game by themselves. That’s why they HAVE to group no matter what. They cannot fathom playing solo. Very annoying. The fact they chose to play on solo servers and still group shows how cowardly and bad they are at the game. This is why as a solo player myself I only play Hatz, Sarco, sucho, laten, struthi, meg. That way i can still win a fight or get away from the grouping cowards

What server

Even in solos. People are always gonna mix pack.. can’t stop them. You never can. I ended up staying up all night as well and it’s now 11am, and I still missed your video 😭😭

Yeah, I am not sure what the devs were thinking with this whole 'solo server' setting. Obviously, it is not going to work. People will cooperate without the group feature. In fact, people usually do so on any server to avoid the group combat timer, so they can heal. This is nothing new and does not work. Could have told them myself before they even implemented it.

When it to anodonto it isn't really affected by the new mechanic the one at the biggest disadvantage here is Rex players because now the most reliable thing to do is just equipt face tank

I think people often forget that achillo is still viable with a solo build, even though they nerfed it so much. It's dmg and health/cw are still comparable to the other dinos of its weight class, it just doesn't outclass them alone anymore

i took on two PT rexes as ano after the update, just hunkering, they got me nowhere near half health and were both on death scars before backing off. in the most respectful way possible, ano shouldn't be played offensively-- its a defense dino. of course playing it any other way will end poorly

Breaking News: the heavily defensive dino that was intended to be played defensively had its bs removed and has to play defensively. Hyper aggressive players are shocked. In all seriousness, yes ano is less useful now that it doesnt have its instant death sentence attack anymore. Shocker that when they remove the attack that you just need one lucky hit with to guarantee your win, it can no longer bs its way into a win with it. It's still one of the strongest dinos in the game. You'd still need an army of apexs to kill it. As long as its not being needlessly aggressive on the slowest dino in the game, its going to win. There is of course the starving strategy but at that point if they're starving you out, youve still won

Anos are funny to fight. I enjoy just walking away from them as soon as they hunker down, then coming back to damage them once they’re out. And back and forth until they die or never leave hunker again, so then I leave.

Here's what actually changed. Pre-bone break 'nerf' - Ano lands ONE bone break attack, and causes enemy to lose all speed. Ano kills player. Post-bone break 'nerf'- Ano lands ONE bone break attack, and doesn't cause enemy to lose all speed. Ano doesn't kill player. What hasn't changed. Everyone but the ano chooses to fight with the ano. As an ano there is no expectation to get any kills because you aren't meant to kill. you're meant to not die. If you're playing ano, and your threat is smaller than seven apex carnivores, there's literally no way for you to die without doing so on purpose, or uncrouching to try and chase them down. Nothing about how ano plays has changed. You just don't get free kills anymore. I like ano, because if you want to play a creature that doesn't die. Ano. But don't expect to get any kills either. It's not meant to. Do not pursue other dinos as ano. You will not catch up. This change simply makes it so ano is less dangerous to fight than it already was. It still means nothing. Nobody can kill an ano solo unless they're a savant or some modded bs.

Ano= f around and find out dino. even before the bb update ano was heavy reliant on the enemy making mistakes, like wanting to kill you. Ano has the best trade tool in the game with hunker down. So in my eyes ano is still viable cause it still need the enemy to be an idiot to kill anything. yes you cant catch anything fast anymore but even before you could not do that unless thgey where unexpierenced in the game. All the bb update did was make the Ano not being able to cath small things its still the #1 Apexkiller if played right.

I know the game encourages grouping together and mixpacking, but it's just so frustrating for solo players who either don't have anybody to play with, or just prefer solo (like me). This is one of the issues I have with the game. It can be so incredibly unfair and unbalanced with the megapacks that form even to grouped player, and the mixpacking really creates a huge disadvantage for everyone basically. I know this sounds like a skill issue of mine (it probably is), but the megapacks and mixpacks are a problem for this game imo. Really removes your motivation to play if you prefer solo. And honestly, can't expect anything less from crater lol. I hate crater so much.
