Colonize an Exoplanet - Plan B: Terraform
This is an infrastructure building and resource management sim called Plan B: Terraform. It is easy to learn and difficult to master unless maybe you have a systems engineering education. I recorded my first attempts at designing factories and transit here, but towards the end after starting 3 or 4 new planets and 30+ hours of gameplay you see more sophisticated networks and cities. Enjoy!

The ship control seems pretty intricate. Assuming there is enough to do in game I might buy this one.
I recommend it. It's a pretty good sailing simulator. I have 19 hours so far and am still not finished with it.

So what I did before recording was go to that planet and spawn in several extra AI ships with cheats on and damage disabled.
I've been really in love with this game for the past couple of weeks, desperately waiting for the next update, posting ideas, building ships and uploading screenshots. I hope the game gets a faction system so there can be a pvp aspect soon.

this game is all about just building a ship. theres nothing else to do besides fight some ai. The idea is cool, the content is just not there.
I can agree with you on all of that. I've personally just really enjoyed building ships and I also really like checking out early access games and seeing them develop. This is my first time promoting one because I liked it that much and I think it has great potential.
i couldnt seem to figure out how to find many enemy ships no matter how many places i warped to in the system. As the game is, it feels like a sandbox game where theres no where to go and nothing to work towards. i get you can mine stuff, or replace ur ship hull with tougher ship hull, but whats the point if you have no quests to complete to nothing to protect yourself against? lol

Thanks! Reactor mounts (especially empty ones) are currently the best way to get a better turn rate.
Oh cool...will have to try that...i thought it might of been more resistance to enemy lazers. hehe...
how do you upgrade the labs?
As of Alpha 7.0, there is no way to upgrade labs, but you can find Isometric Framer Mk.II on large asteroid stations and Mk. III on Station One located in lawless space regions with the large space station icon. However, they do not offer more crafting recipes, only additional slots in their queue. New to 7.0 is the weapons lab that you can build for making better lasers and tractor beams.
You can now craft Basic Lab MK.2's and Weapon Lab MK.1's in the default lab
Looks like the devs need to do a lot of balancing when it comes to how many weapons you can have on various sized ships, let alone the power requirements and how ships turn (especially large ones). This just reminds me of other games that you can build "erasor ships" that is just auto "I win" and unrealistic turning for large ships. I don't think they meant to make this Asteroids 3.0.
