Renamon specifically states that by nature, Digimon have no gender. So by nature, they are all sexless. But they have the modern definition of gender for sure. Beelzemon is manly, so he gets called a he. Babamon is an old woman, so she gets called a she. It's very much, yeah, these creatures aren't reproducing... but they still have genders. And I kinda appreciate that as an example when I'm explaining gender to fellow nerds.

You’re really good at describing things but your “um”s, “ya know”s and sighs, I feel like are from just not having done this a lot. As a listener it just makes you sound disinterested even though I can also tell it’s involuntary as well. I was somewhat confused by this movie when I saw it so it was nice to hear your summaries. I remember I ultimately liked it and it was so beautiful. I think I also would prefer to hear more of your opinions and analysis while you describe what’s going on as well. Cheers 🫰🏻
