It is sad to me that the MTA here in New York are not even trying to look at building new subway or regional rail lines/extensions along the expressways and abandoned track right of ways around the city (with the exception of the proposed "Interborough Express"). At least Chicago and other cities like Boston have done so over the decades. A whole new subway line in the middle of the Long Island Expressway in Queens would probably be cheaper than extending that dam Second Ave Subway line 3 stops north in Manhattan.

It's about time. I really hope the reconstruction efforts and the materials that went into it will last a decent amount of time. This is especially so given the harsh winter elements that Chicago is known for.

Build a connecting ramp on the West Side of the Paulina Connector to connect with the Lake Street L. This will give the CTA even more flexibility and be able to reroute Blue Line trains in an emergency.

Does the brown line go over the riverwalk.? Is it easier to access the river walk from Orange line or brown line..? Someone…? Anyone…?

Seeing a 2600 at 95th reminds me of the days when the Red Line was 100% 2600's before the 5000's came

I'm used to seeing the 4000s in their later CTA green-and-yellow paint scheme. Orange and brown (and for that matter, red and green) were Chicago Rapid Transit paint schemes. Fox River has two 4000s in red and green.

When does CTA plan to rebuild this station?
