(Beginner Pianist Milestone, 3 Years) Schumann - Träumerei
3 years learning piano, 1 less than violin. Has been a good supplement to my violin studies. Been done with this piece for 2 months now, only now put in the effort to record it so I can fully focus on new things. Thank you to my amazing teacher Gabriele.

Around 4 years since learning completely from scratch, this piece took 8 months of work to bring up to the desired level. Big thanks to my teacher @yanneldor ! 💐

3 years into learning violin starting at 22 years old. 6 months of time away, 6 months self-taught, and the rest spent fixing my self-taught behaviours. I wanted to share these milestones for other adult beginners to see what can come from the effort. Obviously if you don't harm your progress by self-teaching like I did or having so long and so many times away from the instrument, you will get ...
So good! Let's get this to a million likes 👍👍👍
This is lovely ❤ I’ve just started my “adult learning violin” journey, I hope to be even half as good after three years!
I started by self-teaching for 6 months and then my first teacher spent a lot of time fixing those mistakes self-teaching. I guarantee you if you've just started and you have a teacher from day one, you'll surpass my speed 100% for sure, likely much faster too. Best of luck ❤️
Amazing ❤
I'm performing this in about a week. Your intonation is much better than mine :) Well done
I'm told constantly that intonation is a life-long journey, I wouldn't worry. Though when you focus on really slow methodical practice, I find it harder to let intonation issues occur. Hope this helps you and good luck with your performance!
Great job stephen!!!
Your intonation is so good! And you use the whole bow! I’d rather people play slowly but correctly than fast but all over the place, so bravo! 👏

Bravo Stephen!!!!
