'Homebound' (2024) is a wordless picture book about a white stork witnessing the loss and destruction caused to the natural and urban environments of Ukraine by russia's full-scale invasion as he's making his way back to his nest in early spring.
This book was created as part of the illustration MFA program I'm currently pursuing at Rhode Island School of Design. I self-published and sold a small batch of copies and directed the profit I made to various small fundraisers supporting individuals and brigades in the Armed Forces on Ukraine.
