saturated fats DONT cause heart disease. this is pretty well documented and has been debunked for years. saturated fats r required for 1000s of mechanisms in the body so dont neglect it, they r essential nutrients and imo r on par with protein for importance.

Yeah if you’re just starting exercise in general I would say lifting is probably the best and easiest besides walking. A bit more technical than running but definitely easier to stick with (for most people)
There is some science behind it. Cold exposure causes an increase in mitochondria in fat cells for the sole purpose of creating body heat from the fat cells themselves. I doubt it works as well if you're only spending a few minutes a day in the cold and then staying warm the rest of the time, but it does give you more cold tolerance, so if you also wear fewer layers to stay cooler, it probably has a decent overall effect.
I don't talk have a lot of convos with Ben but this was a great ice breaker. I know he's silent but how all the coaches described his is spot on. Patient, gentle, humble, intentional. Would love to hear about the rest of the staff unless that's already in the works ;)
