I have one Xerion 5000 with Fae stabilizer for mulching stumps. Im intherested in this machine.
Neat machine. Stumped an a nice, fluffy planting bed left behind. An old and retired planting/spacing forman gives this a 10. A good site prepair is monumental for strong and healthy plants.
2 feet to 3 feet in diameter and a yard deep, serious work getting done and it nicely uses the waste as soil amendment/ fertilizer. That will make a nice producing, with rotations, field. In about 5 years you will forget you even needed a best like this.

The motor is doing 1800rpm & the drum is doing 600rpm.
How would it go on badly rock.

Look up Wirtgen 240i . Very similar in what it does but only 1 piece of equipment , not 2 .

They need to be respected. An arm or leg is easily removed by them as they really have no respect for us.
why is it so big and probably powerfull if it doenst go below the surface and really removes the roots? doenst seems like its really using the power that efficent
The machine is designed and can go 300mm below the surface and remove the roots. The company who brought this machine have decided they only need to go 100mm below the surface for their application. By doing this they leave part of the stump there and sell Carbon Credits. They also don't add as much nitrogen back into the soil. This machine has no trouble in going down 300mm below the surface and mulching the stumps roots.
OK if this land is to be use for farming why not get all the nutrients so the crops to grow stronger nitrogen wouldn't kill the seeds
Easy maintenance...yea. "Gotta change the starter. Go get the engine hoist." Maintaining large machinery is not for the limp-wristed.
