G Made Buffalo G02 Chassis Wheel and Tire Upgrade
In this video I install some different Tires and Wheels on my G Made Buffalo Crawler. It had some RC4WD Aluminum Wheels and the stock G Made Tires but I wanted something more scale. I went with some BFG KO2 from an Axial SCX10 and some Amazon Aluminum wheels with Injora silicone inserts. They made a vast improvement in un-sprung weight. In a following video I will take it out on the rocks and see how they do.

In this video I install the Aluminum Steering Knuckles and Simulated Brake Calipers and Rotors on my Rlaarlo XTS Rally car. I bought this car within the first few minutes of it going live to buy and was in the first 200 people to buy it and got these for free. The seem to be very nice and are a nice addition to this car.
Fine Laser Designs Vanquish H10 Optic Battery Tray Clips
มุมมอง 29414 วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video I install the Fine Laser Designs Battery Tray Clips on my Vanquish H10 Optic Kit I did a build series on. There are no instructions that came with them and the little QR Code on the card that came with them did not bring up an instructional video either. They were fairly easy to install after I figured out how they went together and make it easier to get the battery tray out witho...
Vanquish H10 Optic Kit Build Video 6
มุมมอง 49914 วันที่ผ่านมา
In this last video on my Vanquish H10 Optic Build Series I get the cage mounted to the chassis, the gorgeous Carbon Fiber Body Panels installed and get the wheels and tires on it as well. I think it turned out great, the Copper tone of the wheels brings out a copper tone in the Carbon Fiber, I really like the way it turned out.

In this video I get the rest of the Transmission put together and installed onto the skid plate and get the side skid plates and ESC/ Receiver tray installed. It was a fairly straight forward build but I have found a few things wrong or not shown clearly in the manual.
Vanquish H10 Optic Kit Build Video 2

In this video I get the Rear Diff. and part of the Transmission built. The only part that I had any issue with was getting the spur gear onto the slipper eliminator plate, the manual was not clear as to which holes the screws go in to.
Vanquish H10 Optic Kit Build Video 1
มุมมอง 319หลายเดือนก่อน
In this first video of my Vanquish H10 Optic Kit Build I build the front axle. I had an issue with the front diff 3rd member case being incorrect, the bolt pattern is off. I ended up drilling holes in the axle to accommodate the incorrect diff case. It fixed the issue but is not totally the correct way to do it. Other than that it went together well and is a really nice axle setup. The video we...

In this short video I do an unboxing of my Vanquish H10 Optic I am going to do a build video series on. I am going to do a step by step build on this and show you everything about how to build it, how the build went and what my honest opinions about the build. As some may know you cannot choose what livery of the 6 they have, plus one mystery livery that was rumored to be Carbon Fiber Body Pane...

In this short video I show the inventory I have as of Dec. 9th 2024. I have lots of newer inventory. I just got in the new Redcat Racing MT10 1/18th Monster Trucks, as well as some new RC4WD Gelande ll 1/18 scale trucks and a Trail Finder ll 1/24 scale truck. I have quite a few crawlers both new and used as well as some faster vehicles.
Axial RR10 Bomber Rod End Rebuild and Injora 2 2 Silicon Inserts
มุมมอง 148หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video I install some new rod ends on my Axial RR10 Bomber. The original ones had the plastic balls and were just worn out and sloppy. I bought a pack of angled and straight 4mm rod ends with metal balls in them and installed them onto the stock links. I also install new Injora 2.2 silicon inserts into the stock tires that are mounted on a set of Orange aluminum bead lock wheels. All in ...

In this video I swap out the stock motor and ESC and install a Hobbywing Fusion SE 1800KV Brushless Motor, ESC Combo. Brooooo! I almost downvoted this vid because of iOS beta. I switched to landscape and it made it look like the 1st 2 minutes were zoomed into the FT RT Turnbuckle and I kept watching. 😂 I just did this upgrade front and rear tonight on my carbon, and YT suggested your video as my top to watch. So glad I figured my out the phone was being dumb! Informative video. Subscribed! I still laugh every time it “backfires”
Looks nice 👌
Another Great Video!! For my H10 Optic RTR I got when those first came out, I saw Kevin had these clips available so I purchased a set. I had to watch his video a few times since I thought I installed the 1st one incorrectly when it would not click to secure the battery tray/panel. In the end I just kinda forced it until it clicked. Then I looked where it kinda grooved up on the tray and shaved a little plastic off to get it to click in freely. Not sure the differences from side to the other side but the 2nd one installed and clicked with very little force. I do like these clips but not sure I'll put them on the Battle Born H10 Optic Kit I have. Thinking I'll just use the aluminum pins that came on my RTR, (instead of the plastic ones in the Kit) but just install them upside down and forgo the body clips and see how that works.
Need more 18th scale crawlers.
I have a few in stock right now. A couple of RC4WD Gelande ii 1/18th scale crawlers.
Great Video! Those Carbon fiber panels look awesome! I could go broke buying up the Optic kits just to see if I get a set 😁.
Thank you.
Great Video! Putting a limit on a video is harder than I thought when I started but, in my opinion, I'd watch it anyway. I know a lot of people want that quick give me the details so I can move on but its hard to put what you want into 5 or less minute video. So yes, I am liking your videos and is giving me thoughts when I get ready to do mine.
Thank you. It is difficult to try and limit videos to a certain time limit. I don't do much editing, but you can edit some stuff out if it gets too long. Thanks for watching.
Excellent that you got the carbon panels, very fortunate. Mine should ship Friday, I hope to get lucky too.
Great Video!! Was wondering if you used any grease when putting the drive shafts together for the pivot point but you did mention you typically do not. I do try and add a little marine grease on these types shafts and the MIP ones but since I have the Incision drive shafts I'll be using those for my Optic build in the near future. Subb'd
Sometimes I do, other times I don't.
Great Video! It's always awesome to see how other Kit Builders build kits after I have been doing for many years and at times I'll pick up on other technics to incorporate into my kit builds. However, haven't watched your other videos after this one yet and hopping you caught miss putting in the bearing plate spacer when you built the Transmission on the bottom part of page 11 in the manual. It's to hold the 2 plates together so there is no movement and keeps the gears inline.
I wondered where that part went to. Thanks for pointing that out. I will have to get it put in at some point.
Congratulations to you! I just opened mine tonight Dec. And got the same surprise... They're so nice.. i put them right back in the foam and bubble wrap 💪🏻
Thanks again for these videos. I'll be starting the kit on Wednesday. First kit so this series will be awesome to refer back to. I guess I was one of the lucky ones that received the correct third member out of the box
What livery did you end up getting?
I received the Battle Born livery. I saw you had gotten the CF panels. That’s awesome!
Thanks. This was a fun video series to do. I enjoy building kits almost more than playing with them. This is the reason I did this series was to help people build theirs, and show the issues I had so others don't have them.
Man thanks for this series of videos! My kit will be here tomorrow, and it's my first kit. Following along and referencing your videos will help a ton! I was hoping someone would make a build series for this Optic kit.
I am brand new to electric cars, if I swap the ESC/receiver on this can I plug the lights and the winch into the new ESC on the same ports? How did you set the endpoints on the shifter? I got a little surpass 9 g servo for the shifter too but I may or may not use it
@archprizm6066 you will not have to swap out the remote or receiver when you swap out the ESC and motor. The only lights that come off of the stock ESC are the ones in the front and rear bumpers. The rest of the lights are controlled by the remote and receiver. Do not plug the bumper lights directly into the receiver, it will burn them out. Don't ask me how I know.
Congratulations, First set I've seen, I ended up with the Red Eibach livery, looks too much like my 4ws Capra colors so I'll wrap them with something different.
I believe you got 2 rear axle 3rd members in your kit. I saw some posts about this on the Vanquish facebook page. They also mentioned it on the Vanquish live TH-cam live on Tuesday. They said to contact Vanquish and they’ll send you the correct part.
That is what I figured also. The mold lines don't line up quite right, and it looks identical to the rear third member case. I did contact them, and they are sending me the correct one.
Congrats Dude! Still waiting for mine to arrive. Fingers crossed for the same!!!!
Thank you for the build video, can't wait for #2.
Thank you.
I am sorta glad I sent mine back, but after watching your videos about it, maybe I was a bit wrong. Anyways, we shouldn't have to do all this stuff to a rc vehicle in order to make it run right/better. Good video about it.
I have built kits for a couple other people over the years, they just didn't have time to build it on their own. I really like building kits. This is probably the 10th one I have built. Thanks for watching and I hope these videos help you out.
I’ll ship you mine to build, this is my first build and I’m a bit intimidated lol. Seriously though thanks for making this, I’m going to follow along!
You lucky dude, I ordered 3 of them I'll be pissed if I get the red or yellow one.
@@michaelspicuzza2016 I was amazed when I opened the box and saw the bubble wrap instead of the clear plastic and the colored panels showing through the plastic bags. This will be in my collection for years.
what did you get?
It's a shame one has to do several upgrades to make it work properly. I got the red one & seen how the setup was & decided to send it back for a full refund. ESC, transmitter, reciever, tires, rims & try to figure out something with the battery tray. That's my reasons why I didn't want this.
@byrddmann0113 I do agree with you. But that is the fun part of this hobby, modifying things to your liking. And in the process making things better.
I agree. If I can find some brass I will probably do a video on that as well. The heavier wheels and tires made a difference but it could use more.
Those upgrades transformed it for sure! :) Adding some more weight down low may help it out because it's top heavy.
Do you have drive pins and wheel hexes for the small monster truck above the fiesta? Possibly some different wheels and tires that would fit it as well?
I have wheel hexes and pins for them, same as an Axial SCX24. I don't have any monster truck style of wheels/tires for them but any 1" wheel with a 7mm hex would fit. I do have an original set of wheels/tires from an Ascent 18 that would fit. But again not a big wide type tire. Maybe the same as an FMS Max Smasher?
Did you use redcat bearings as well? I have an old one of these laying around and would like to get it running for the kid
@@eddie5point064 I just measured the size of the bushings and got the same size bearings. Worked out great.
@@racecar021872 alright thanks. the one I have has bushings an would like to swap for bearings
This thing is good, just change the tyre with good quality like louise rowdy it will be good.
Watch my second run video or the video I did with what upgrades I did too it. Yes better tires and a different motor/esc makes this thing pretty good.
Great video! What servo did you used for the transmission shifting? Please
I don't remember what servo I used, or if I even used the two speed, it's been a while since I built this and I no longer have it, so I don't remember what I did. Sorry.
Great video! What servo did you used for the transmission shifting? Please
If only you had more scx24 and trx4m parts we would be there like every day for parts we have little cralwer comps in soap lake on the weekends and always need something
I have a couple SCX24's at the moment, also selling my TRX4M Bronco and I also have the new FCX10 Hummer EV.
What kind of parts do you need and use? If I had an idea of what people need I can get the parts and keep them in stock. When do you go out and crawl, I would like to go out with you guys and crawl more. Like I said I have a couple belly dragger SCX24's, I have a Redcat Ascent 18 and the Traxxas TRX4M and FMS18 Hummer EV.
Ooo we can comment now 😊 thanks for being the only hobby shop in Ephrata not enough people into the hobby in grant county.
Can you please show how to bind the controller? Changed my motor but now it works for about 30 seconds then no control.
What motor did you use? Just changing a motor should not mess with the binding of your TX to the RX. Sometimes changing ESC's will need to have you recalibrate the throttle positions of your TX to the new ESC.
What’s the wheels & tires?
The wheels are just Amazon special 1.9 beadlocks. The tires are a Power Hobby pin type tire. Great on the rocks, almost cheating tires.
Very well done video, I have the gray one and just love it. 😄
Thank you very much. I really do like this crawler.
Looks like it’s sitting a little bit too high still.
Pre Runners with the I Beam Suspension like this always have some positive or negative caster depending on how it is sitting or running, its just the nature of this type of suspension system.
Nice build
Thank you.
Great video. Thanks for the info
Thank you.
One last question for you. The winch on the bed how did you route the wires? Did you also coil them around the plastic stick on the bed like the channel 3 unit wire.
Yes. I had to run a long extension on it to get it to the receiver but it is coiled around the other side of the bed.
Any chance you could take a picture?
I would but I don't have the truck anymore.
Ok. Im just wiring it for someone who built it do they give you enough stuff to have that slide on both sides?
Mine had the parts to do both of the little round bars that the wires are coiled around.
So are you just running a small 2 or 3s lipo that fits under the hood instead of in the battery box?
I am running a small 3s lipo that fits in the battery box under the bed.
@@racecar021872 Ok thanks so much
Oh I want one .very cool video..u just got another sub
Thank you for introducing me to a great car! It's a great video.~~~^_^😊😊😊

What remote are you using, I'm planning on getting one of these but need to know what remote is good and how many channels I would need for everything
I am running a Spectrum DX5C. The 5th channel is not working correctly on mine so I could not get the Winch to work. But everything else was working with it.
NICE 👍. ANY WAY WE CAN GET A BETTER VIEW NEXT TIME LIKE FROM IN FRONT OF YOU SO WE CAN SEE WHATS GOIN ON BETTER 😁🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
I am going to try mounting the camera on the cupboard in front of me as I am facing my work bench with the camera facing down so everyone can see better. Will do that on my next build. Thanks for the suggestion.
@@racecar021872 EXCELLENT 👍
