Picked up on three uses of 'flow' that I really liked: - To go along with Flo's plan. - The flow of the river as a calming spot. - The flow of time as the location's nostalgic meaning for the characters now holds a different meaning after all these years (stream as a metaphor for for passage of time?) Loved this very much!

Put into words so perfectly. I also swim for me time, to listen to my thoughts, to hear my breathing, to have a sense of control, and to feel accomplished. The best part of swimming is the after time.

I’m soon to be 58 and I’m a wild swimmer who lives in the remote wilderness of the Pacific Northwest in 🇨🇦. Here’s an observation that I have made that I think is quite interesting. Inquisitive people of the Baby Boomer age think I am nuts for wild swimming in some pretty chilly conditions... I quite often receive a polite safety lecture from them. People of the Millennial generation are in awe, they are uber curious and want to learn more. When people ask me why I wild swim... I wish the words that are expressed by Louise in this film would come out of my mouth. She says it all, so humbly and so eloquently. Thank-you for this film... I’m going to watch it again now 🇨🇦🏊‍♀️💦
