The present time is so much the opposite of my successful life that I had when I lived in a better city and I had rental properties and I was ready to be financially free and then something happened. I took all my money and I got rid of everything and that was almost 10 years ago and I still am not over it. I was successful and my business partner took advantage of me and caused me to lose everything. I still blame myself, but it just makes me hate myself even more. I didn’t have to go to a job. I lived off of the rental properties, and I was young and full of energyand I’m just depressed with regret and I can’t even find God anywhere. Sometimes I think he punished me for something when I go back-and-forth on that because maybe he didn’t.

Fake. Bullsh!t. The past has to let go of you. If you could let go of the past, you would have done it long ago. The past stays the past, but the negative emotional attachment to the memory has to be faced and conquered.

Its hard, shifting thoughts. I've realized i'm comfortable with my own bad energy. Its safe. I belong. I'm judged here and i feel guilty here. But i belong. Forgetting that is hard. It feels impossible and impractical. I wish i had a guide.

How does changing thoughts make things better when you have unmet basic needs? I am a single parent to a high needs autistic child and life is extremely taxing emotionally and financially, extremely busy, and very lonely. All of my friends left because we are "burdens." My dogs are my only friends. I often work 7 days a week and still struggle to meet basic needs. I don't really fit in with society. My child and i are both autistic, her being higher needs and me being more "Asperger's" type.
