One basic thing in piano improvising
You cant evaluate pianoimprovisation compared to ordinary piano piece playing - because in improvising you must learn your technic freedom of any score or piece - so that you can do with your piano technic whatever you want that is not written to any score or piece. After reaching that freedom - that I am quite close now - you can forget such technical question and use your technic freely to what ever melody idea comes into your mind.

That is fascinating. It is like a meditation using music. Like sitting in nature letting the beautiful sights flow around you, you let the music music within you flow and then you pick which notes to put together. It’s a wonderful skill 🎹

My rehearsal with that grandpiano was test how can I improvise one hour. It went well. Except grandpianos are not very well known to me and that was quite out of tune and I had at the same time practise how to use echo pedal
