Thank you for this message Pastor. This is a pure discipleship message. We don't get many of this these days. More anointing Man of God!
Get em! Great job Ethan!
great stuff, thank you.
Thank you for watching and commenting, Bill. We're glad that this message was helpful!
Let's be honest...no one in that room was ever "under the law". This fact proves that modern christianity is false. Here's why: Biblical redemption was ONLY from the curse of the old covenant law. That law was ONLY given to old Covenant Israel and has not existed for nearly two thousand years. No one alive today was ever "under the works of the law" or its curse. The law was never your "tudor". You were not "kept under the law". Did Christ redeem you from the curse of the law that Paul is referring to in Galatians 3? Think I'm wrong...read this out loud: **He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. He has done this for NO other nation; they DO NOT know his laws. Psalm 147
Good sermon... Too bad this is not happening....
Here's the "Necessity" of church. Research (you know, like, science) shows that in a group, especially where there's music, humans pump dopamine and oxytocin in insane amounts. They lose access to much of their intellectual reasoning and problem solving skills. Their emotionality goes through the roof. They will commit to the group and group goals even when they disagree with them. Watch the woman in the waiting room video. She has no idea why these people are standing up, but soon she's standing up with them, even does so when she's the ONLY ONE THERE. This served humans in tribal social structures where dissent of authority was not countenanced. The MLMs know this. The political parties know this. AND the church understands this. Want some willing peons? Hold meetings, play music.
You don’t know what JESUS was saying.
Hello The works testify that he was sent by God Jesus says he does nothing of himself Nothing of his own authority Doesn’t seek his own will Why does he say this? Because they are accusing him of doing things without being sent by God, not in God’s authority, but his own authority and accord seeking his own will Almost claiming him to be a false prophet This is the accusation of “making yourself equal with God!” That is, having authority from God to do and say things They’re not accusing him of “being God” They’re accusing him of falsely claiming authority from God, saying he’s doing it all of himself Which is why Jesus replies with I do nothing of myself Not “I am God” Jesus is the Messiah The Son of God The Son of David The Son of man The man God has chosen to be his anointed king The man God will judge the world through The man God raised from the dead Jesus will return and rule the nations with believers in the kingdom of God on the earth Jesus has a God There is no triune god in scripture Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. - Acts 3 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Servant Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied before the face of Pilate, when he had determined to release him. 14 But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you, 15 and killed the Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. Notice Jesus is NOT the God of Abraham 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Servant Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied before the face of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.

My excuse is second childhood. It’s supposed to start at 40, right? At 73 I guess I’m 7 years from 3rd childhood. No? Seriously though, thank you Josh for another GREAT message.
