This channel shares the work of myself and Martin Butler on how life is, rather than the fiction we tell ourselves. This requires a deep understanding of many topics, including psychology, philosophy, physics, and mathematics. In this channel, we attempt to convey our fundamental understanding of life and why we try to make things difficult for ourselves. How can I become a dictator?
How to Become a Dictator: Martin Butler Explains the Psychology Behind Power
In this thought-provoking video, Martin Butler dives into the psychology of dictatorship, exposing the fascinating, albeit chilling, process of rising to power. With charisma, an understanding of mass psychology, and a nation hungry for solutions, anyone can craft the illusion of salvation.
Martin humorously begins by addressing fake accounts misusing his name, expressing gratitude for the unintended publicity before launching into a deep analysis of dictatorships. He explains Freud’s cycle of romance and disillusionment in politics, detailing how people’s craving for a savior can lead them into willingly giving up their freedom. Citing historical examples like Hitler’s rise in post-WWI Germany and the Conservative Party’s tactics in the UK, Martin outlines the key tools of a dictator: scapegoating, controlling the legal system, securing military support, and appealing to base instincts like fear and hatred.
The message is clear-dictators thrive on dissatisfaction, offering utopia while pursuing self-interest. Martin warns of the inevitable disillusionment, chaos, and suffering that follow, reminding us to critically examine leaders promising too much.
Insightful, engaging, and laced with wit, this video is a masterclass on power dynamics and why history urges caution when yearning for a savior.

Yup, if you're at the right place, at the right time, with the right thing, you too can become a dictator.
So true is the truth that we don't want to hear it. Lol
Why cite Bill Gates and Elon Musk, both of whom never even finished college, instead of one of the many thousands of actual AI researchers who collectively came up with the warnings?
Because 1) the names of Gates and Musk mean something to the people, contrary to that of some random AI scientist and 2) Gates and Musk did not come up with their takes on the subject while taking a shower of course. They are relying on a company full of highly qualified AI specialists.
@ So it’s an appeal to authority? And if people don’t know the names of the authority, you don’t feel like they’d care about the message? Musk in particular is unfortunately well known for not listening to the experts in his companies and bill gates hasn’t had anything to do with the operation of Microsoft for quite a few years.
How will I rule with an iron fist now!?
I love this guy❤️ He is so articulate.
No mention of socialist and communist regimes in the 20th century. Unless.
Honestly all leadership is heading this way all over the world. We're about to have to wake up and smell the coffee after we let these people have the reigns
Love is pleasure…that’s lust mate.
Thank you 🙂
This pooping up in my just after watching a borat interview 😂
Hehe 😂 @03:28

As you get older you realise that a man does not need a woman. If you are younger and driven by your libido, then understand that women behave like chickens in many ways. If you dont keep them happy, you are not ever present and they are guarded by boundaries, they will wander off if they see something pleasant
Do you need to keep them. Marriage is an old concept. You can enjoy womens company without codependancy.
Love the SIIIKE at the end. Chefs kiss. 😂
Don't ask how but where
In these days a man must show her the Pimp Hand to show he cares.
Bare foot, pregnant and in the kitchen.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
thats raw and very edgie stuff this guy knows
If she needs you to buy her things constantly and she way younger than you then she's a golddigger. Wake up! We honest women don't require material signs.
Sorry, but flirting with other women just to test her reaction is childish! That might have worked on previous generations, but guys, keep in mind, any self-respecting woman will leave you at that moment because she'll view it as a red flag that you're untrustworthy. Think about it, if you show her that you'd flirt with other women in her presence, then it's clear what you do when out of her sight. She'll know you're a cheater! Don't listen to this guy's advice!
Actually YOU didn't listen cause the man will lie to you, show you he cares and will listen to her till he has you . He will say how awful other men are and rage against the men that harm women . He will be what he knows the woman needs till he thinks he has you then he becomes the very vile women are afraid of.
@lorireed8046 Sorry, I'm not following you... What did I not listen to? 🤔
@@Xianne027 This man told you what men will do and say to get the woman . He told you the lies and devious tactics done to her for his own gratification. Men are NOT honest nor honest. It's like you missed the entire freakin' message .
Nothing can be more apart then anarchy and tyrany.
I'm curious as to whom martin Butler is, may I ask is he a professor or psychologist, he strikes me as a very enlightening and knowledgeable person

Hammeroff and Penrose think that the microtubules (some kind of essential component of neurons) can behave like waves or particles. ...or something, I. Any remember exactly now.
Isn’t this really a problem of imprecise wording? If by self, he means a body, or personality, or even ego, then yes, I have a self. Does the question mean something like “do you have a soul” then possibly not, but I definitely have consciousness Andy so does my cat, probably. In some sense our consciousness creates the world we inhabit, rather than the body creating the consciousness. In that case there is ONLY “a self”.
Nice question to think about though.
❤️💕
Thank You so much. I finally feel like I have the confidence to be myself, and just live as the far-right (cultured) thug that I am, that cares for my people and doesn’t want to just pretend my family has no culture and traditions. Even after 40 years of conditioning from birth. This message is so importan5 that it should be passed to the Nigerian man too, the Welsh, Pole, the Turk, and many others.
I will begin with my family to communicate that we have been ignored and belittled for too long and that we have had been refused the need to communicate our hopes and needs for the future.
100%. Thank you ❤❤❤
Yeah the pick mes...

Thats why Macron dogs Israel hes scared 💩 less
Correct assessment I would say.
That would be Mississippi. The poorest state in the US.
Exactly....

Thank you so much!!!!! Martin is a Socrates reincarnation!
What if it's a 3d object?
The self is a point of reference where the universe looks at itself in a particular time and place….😅
I was thinking the same.
Had my math teacher explained factorials in this manner, not only would I have enjoyed the lesson, I would have remembered it! Having watched this explanation, I will remember it from now on. Thank you!
Hilarious! Self-loathing comment!
Love listening to your philosophy, and appreciate when you say that you don’t know. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
I have a friend who constantly brags but then he says he has nothing to show off about.
How demonic can people be? Pour evil creatures who do this. I've experienced this behavior, and it sucks.
Martin looks like Socrates
Man looks like as Socrates. How cool.
I've been binge watching the 'Martin Butler' channel and then this channel was recommended (I suppose his partner?) - good to see ya'll here.
Thank you for watching.
I lost a lot of friends due to them bragging and boasting....their loss actually
Missed you martin haven't seen your vedios in a while.
I was someone who was very flashy and liked showing off though I never would have admitted it, I can definitely see objectively now and that I probably enjoyed invoking feelings of jelousy in others. A way on one upping others and feeding your own ego. Being on the other side and not in a good situation, Ive become disgusted at other people doing this behavior and can see that exact same behavior I exhibited. God has a funny way of doing things, this has been a very humbling experience for me and definitely makes me want to change my own behavior. 'For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” Peter 5:5-6
