The key's movement is probably included in this, it just keeps going the direction it was headed when you froze it or something.

If you run SMB with different FPS, you can get crazy interactions where you move through walls even without alt

The weirdest part about this to me is that I very specifically recall the game having an FPS lock, so either not everything works through delta time or it's just arbitrarily there.

Pretty easy to do with meatboy and other characters. Tofu cant go up fast enough while sliding to really benefit from this

Unfortunately, storage only works when you spawn. Bandage girl is waaaaaay too far from the spawn point, you void out before reaching her.

I got all the achievements on the xbox version but the steam achievements are bs. no deaths in cotton alley is just unreasonable

​@@godlyvex5543As someone who's gotten every achievement on steam, they're not bs in the slightest. Sure, they're insanely hard, but they rely on pure skill and dedication. If you're dedicated enough, you WILL be able to get these achievements, there is no element of rng holding you back.

@@h_the_great Not saying it's RNG, I'm saying it's unreasonable. The golden god achievement is extremely hard but you can expect someone to complete it within a reasonable amount of time. The deathless achievements inflate the playtime to a degree that makes it unreasonable. It doesn't really add anything to the game, it just arbitrarily says "actually, you have to play the same stuff for WAY longer before we consider you to have finished the game fully." Which doesn't make sense. Golden god makes sense as a completion badge, since it involves completing every completable thing. Completing worlds without dying is an arbitrary challenge that has no relevance in game and shouldn't be tied to completion. It's also anti-thematic, since the game is kinda based around the idea that trying again is quick and easy. Celeste is the other game to look at in this department, and I think you'll notice that while the game has golden strawberries, they are not required for full achievement completion. Because they are beyond the limit of what is possible for a player to complete in a reasonable time-frame. To be clear, I'm not saying these challenges are too hard and shouldn't exist, I think they're fine to have in the game. I'm saying they should not be counted when it comes to deciding what is 100% completion of a game. You will probably notice that meat boy and celeste 100% speedruns generally do not care about these deathless achievements. Ask yourself, why? They're the peak of player skill expression, which is supposedly the point of speedrunning. I'll tell you, it's because they aren't an interesting challenge for the vast majority of people. The difficulty is not the issue, it's the fact that replaying the same long stretch of content over and over hundreds of times until you do it perfectly is just not fun for most people, and again, is not reasonable to expect anyone to enjoy.
