Yay so look forward to your vlogs since discovering you girl!! Love what you stand for, who you are and your creative energy and abilities.. the music choice in each vlog is so beautiful and very arty .
INTJ here. That was all spot on!I always feel different from the rest. Not to mention appearing as someone “difficult” from almost everybody and everything. Being perfectionist is also a blessing and a curse at the same time. I hope I can make friends with fellow INTJs here. My circle isn’t a circle tbh. It’s a DOT. LOL
Lol I lived in a zone 4 studio and it was smaller than this 😭. This is such a lovely space
I live in London and I feel exactly the same.. maybe is the winter..maybe the dark ..the overwhelming and busy environment..not sure but I feel you... it's so nice knowing that I'm not alone and hopefully it's just temporary. At least I have your videos to keep me going ❤ so thank you
I prefer smaller apartments. Much easier to clean and they feel more homely somehow
If you don't mind are you still an INTJ? I stumbled across your channel the other day because of your INTJ videos. I myself am one, so just wondering, are you?
You just described my life rn😅 i live in st petersburg and it gets dark at 4 pm so its so hard to follow a healthy routine without watching yt and tv all the time haha
Ahhh I get you
I thought I had a good reply and helpful ideas... but every time I write it... it does not stay. I hope this works! :) Sounds like the Winter Blues to me. Sometimes it's good to allow yourself to chill. A walk and sun is truly a good thing. You are an artist with a day job living near one of the most dynamic cities in the world. Walking is always a nice work out. Maybe break the routine with occasional art walks. Central London Camden and Shoreditch is your art playground. I know there are more but I don't know about them. LOL! If It were me, I would do occasional art walks, I'd go to Tate Modern and other galleries. I'd go to music shops and hunt through vinyl just for fun (you D-jayed) flipping through the bins and talking music could be fun. I'd cruise art and music books, I would definitely go to Foyles (the big one with the cafe and gallery) and I would film those adventures. Thrifting at cool London shops could be a fashion walk. Unique Coffee shop walks like the Photobook Cafe have been underdone. Not to mention what you could do with copyright free music mixes lady dj. 😊 You Tube is great. I have seen all of the wonderful things I have mention and more for the cost of a device and a internet connection... and I have connected with wonderful creators like you on You Tube as well. It could be fulfilling... rest... then drink coffee and do art, fashion, music, books, affordable cafes, and other London things and film them.... us non Londoners would like to see them. Great for your channel and maybe tax deductible... keep your receipts. Best!
Not diagnosing .. but seasonal effect disorder seems so so common these days . Riding it out , acknowledging it and then say good bye to these phases helps me ❤️
definitely that seasonal depression kicking in
Take comfort in knowing .., this will pass . I take vitamin D supplements and sit under a light in the evenings really helps ❤️
Perhaps you are in a putrefaction phase in order to bloom again in Spring. Just go with the flow Lyd. It's the first day of winter, and I hope there is some beautiful snow in London this year. I enjoy watching your videos; it feels like listening to Ludovico Einaudi, but through visuals and your vocal thoughts. If you can try to find a measure of pleasure in little daily routines, or what you notice everyday, it could help you feel better. Personally, I think that you are re-discovering yourself and having a growth spurt within. Take care 🦋
ugh I love Ludovico Einaudi's music so its an honor that my videos give you the same vibe :)
I want to say that it sounds cliche but whomever made the saying there's 🕯️ light at the end of the tunnel, needs to be thanked its true I had an entire decade of misery, health scares problems with where to live, even my beloved cat dying after spending thousands of dollars, but somehow life goes on and we and then we are thankful for it... it's certainly worth fighting for, and yes we emerge again when their is light 🌞💛
yess we always should be thankful for the little beautiful things in life that occur in our day to day existence :)
I barely watched and already liked, because I love every video of this channel
Awww
hello! where is the long woolen trench from (the one in the last outfit) please? i've been looking for ages but the ones in that style usually are too thin for winter :/
hey! it's from karen millen
As a 64 yr old still drink but just on a special occasion like wine tasing or 1 prosecco or aperosol on holiday mainly... It frees up money for cultural events .. my favourite would be fresh lemon served with jug of water but in Uk they do not do this... mocktail is good too ..
Great british breakfast you cant beat it on cold days...will you ever use the chimney..toast marshmsllows and make toast
and one day beans on toast haha
Love your take on life. Are you an artist? Your videos are wonderfully presented.
thank you! i like to think i am artsy sometimes
I dream of Georgia..
I wish they d had wfh before then would ve avoided all the bullying and bitchiness of offices that ruined me.
I ve never been able to afford more than a room in an hmo...most studios are not they hsve no srparate kitchen but call themselves a studio for 1k plus bills which would take a whole wage
Very cute and liveable ❤❤
Living near a tube, at least 10-15min walk at the most, is good. I live 3 mins from my tube, super lucky.
could add more shevles in room
Really liked.
Love how you have made this a home ❤
Love small spaces,well done!
your flat is lovely. you can face the sofa toward the fireplace.
thank you! we've tried this but then it blocks the kitchen, looks awkward :/
Love it ! My dear late Mom was born & raised in London & now that I’m in my 60’s , I’d love to move there. I resist giving up my books , but for London ?? I might. Are you storing things back in Canada ? I live in the states on the border. Have gone to Canada my whole life. All the best to you & your husband in London!! Congrats ! Can I ask how much the rent is ?
yesss we have some things back with family in canada but we try not to collect too much stuff :)
Bella Hadid in London!
Soooo true! But much more natural and prettier
.. yes but much more beautiful & natural
sometimes i go by hella badid
You did well in what was/is a bedroom. I wonder if the couch could be rotated 45 degrees to face either the window or the door when the desk or kitchen are not in use
thanks! yeah we will rotate the couch when drying clothes (almost no drying machine in this country lol) but i still prefer against the wall imo
Thank you for showing us around your wonderful studio apartment. Are used to live in a studio apartment in Nottinghamshires. It was an old police station that had been turned into flats and it had 2 one bedroom flats and 2 studio flats. I lived in one of the studio flats or as they call it bedsits and because it was a grade 2 listed building the landlord wouldn’t do anything about the damp it was horrendous and winter time as a heating wasn’t very good. My landlord said that I was getting damp because of the way I had my furniture. My bedroom/lounge would have probably been the same size as yours. I didn’t have a hallway but my kitchen which was my favourite part of the flat because it was spacious and a separate room and the cupboards were nicer than where I’m living now. The bathroom was okay bit more room than yours. It had a shower whereas I like a bath and the bathroom did suffer from damp quite a bit. I could touch the walls and they were wet as anything so I had to move due to my ongoing health issues. Now I’m in a lovely one bedroom flat that is brand-new and very spacious apart from the lounge and I would say my hallway is my favourite part of the flat because it’s so spacious.
Yes, it would just have been a bed room. Facebook Marketplace is amazing, well done you, you have done an amazing job.
yeah i think so as well... thank youuu
Can I ask how much you're paying?
cant say exactly but very good for london and very low 4 figures!
I have a similar flat in Manor House N4, I pay £1100 plus bills they should give you roughly how much a studio like this should cost.
@@PapiBhapi thanks! Defiantly helps.
That wardrobe is stunning 🤩
Hello , you popped up on my feed. So glad to meet you .. I love your minimalist lifestyle and individuality. Can you do a what you eat in a day?
@@dhaliwaldhaliwal136 thanks for watching! I could potentially do a what I eat in the day but I am pretty boring with what I eat
i just came across you chanell and i already know im gonna dive into all videos!! so cool
Enjoy :))))
I know a married couple who have a studio condo in the East Village NYC. They have happily co-existed there for over 10 years. They enjoy the city and have plenty of cash leftover after the bills are paid to do other things. It can work.
except one day we want a big dog hahaha
@@thelydshow The couple has a big dog named Hudson. It's possible in a studio.
A studio would be a luxury for so many here in Uk living on 25 yr old wages or less....as a solo much harder..
@@lbunnygordon1133 A studio in most major metro areas (UK and US) is a luxury and not only for 20 something wages. If you make a decent wage you don't want it all to go for rent. You want to live a little and save. A 500+ sq ft studio in a good area is as precious as gold nowadays. Not everyone wants to be a van lifer to save money on housing. LOL!
It's quaint and can be a good foundation for building your wealth (Saving/Investing) while enjoying the many things London has to offer. You keep doing your creative thing and be kind to each other. Thanks for the tea invite!
Exactlyyy don’t want to break the budget when unnecessary
I came across this video by chance but had to stay 'til the end. All the outfits were really lovely 🩶, love that color palette. So suitable for more gloomy weather (I also know something about cloudy and rainy weather 😅). My favorite outfit was the last one, this coat looks amazing on you, especially with this skirt and these boots 🔥. This made me want to gravitate a lot more towards black, a color that I wore too much but which I deeply love. Totally suscribing to see more styling videos like this 🥰.
@@VesperaRosa awwww thank youu 🤍 I’ll definitely make some more in the future for ya ;)
@@thelydshow Well thank you, I feel honored 😉. Looking forward discovering your other content too 😊.
Love love love the apt love the fire place and vintage waldrobe
ENTP man. I ❤ INTJ women. You're way better, more disciplined, more efficient, and more methodical at many things than us, and we both know it. But... you gradually chip away at a problem or a goal like a pickaxe on a lump of concrete, whilst we can demolish it like a jackhammer when sufficiently motivated to, and we both know that as well.
You need pink medium sponge rollers. Those big rollers are for smoothing straight look for curly hair

I just got fired today. Not a great feeling but it wasn’t the right job for me. I made some mistakes and I own that. I also didn’t like the management style. I received more severance than I the company was required to give me. It was as amicable as it could be under the circumstances. I’m 50 and have been fired many, many times. Each time I have gotten over it. It’s so common nowadays. It’s always a temporary blow to the self-esteem. I hate having to work. I think I need to work for me and have to find a way to do that.
Beautiful little space I personally love small living ❤
thank you, i missed your styling videos. my fave outfit is probably the one with the dark red tie detail top, mini skirt and tall boots. also, the gifted red bag looks lovely.
Very nice. Calm and relaxing.
