I agree with how much they’ve raised and stuff, but Star Citizen definitely has a lot more things to do than they did even a year ago. I’ve played for probably five years now and I could say it was super empty back then, but I don’t think so now.

I can definitely see the potential of Starfield and I’m excited for it, and I’m excited for all the mods! Skyrim with mods is one of the best gaming experiences you can have. Star Citizen is very ambitious with what they want to do, and I hope everything we want this game to be comes to fruition

​ @Keiran_earthrunner I mean, he's wrong now. Starfield has a tech ceiling with its engine. Unless modders refactor the engine, we're already seeing its limits. Star Citizen just added jump point stations, which are huuuuge. And by next year this time Star Citizen will be unrecognisable. But you're right, in a year's time he will either have to switch to Star Citizen to play an actual fun game, or abandon Starfield and recognise where it has failed him badly.

In Starfield there are complete mechanics and working game process, but in Star Citizen there are only individual elements that do not fully work in game. I also play both, but Starfield gives me a lot of fun and Star Citizen gives me a lot of disappointment.

​​@@vladkudrya9615Wrong you have already complete loops of gameplay (Mining, Salvaging, Delivery, and so on...) they need to be improved for sure but they are already much better than a lots of finished games (and I talk about Starfield...)

There is no ship mining or salvage in Starfield, so not, it is not a very good or complete game.

I was just comparing a few things in a six minute video, if I did everything it would’ve been much longer. I was planning a more in depth video but I’m still working on it

There are contracts/quests in Star Citizen, plus huge events like Siege of Orison, which are noty available in Starfield, nor even remotely possible on the Creation Engine 2.

u really gotta hate Star Citizen that much for being an Alpha with some bugs. The 30k issue is known, I've been playing this game for a while but I rarely had 30k's. I am not defending it, but there is no game ON THIS PLANET that can give the same satisfaction as Star Citizen when being able to explore unlimited without loading screens. Some people have been destroyed by 30k's and some not, I am one which hasn't and even if, in the end is just a game and I want to enjoy it, with or without the bugs (of course knowing is an Alpha)

Yeah, because that's not a big deal at all in the year of 2023. Most game doesn't do that on purpose, to avoid all the stupid things Star Citizen has had and will have had. However, if they want to, they just do, unlike Star Citizen's never-ending "we're alpha" gaslighting - even without selling their hypothetical ship at multi hundred dollars. Heck, even Kerbal Space Program released 8 years ago had the feature, even in the true 1:1 scaled universe from the Solar System to Proxima Centauri, with all the dozens of Jovian and Saturnian moons and even Kuiper-Belt Planetoids, not by such a bloated game dev stuio, but by unpaid community. Their interaction with the spacecraft is not even something like kid's toy thingy like put this button to allocate shield power to engine etc. You actually have to handle your supersonic/hypersonic aerodynamics, have to settle down your fuel to ignite your engine in micro-g, have to get radio signal from Earth with the signal strength calculated based on real-world telecommunication theories, avoid the Van-Allen belt to minimize your crew's radiation exposure etc. With zero loading screen. I mean this "game" has its own charm, which is undeniable. However, if you truly think it's something super and amazing, you need to learn how modern games do.

The problem is Star Citizen barely has any real gameplay and the developers are more interested in releasing $500 ships over actually finishing the game for the fans. Even with its flaws Starfield destroys Star Citizen as an actual game.

@@Battleneter A StarCitzen starter pack is $45 dollars. Most of the ppl i know in game just bought starter ships and used in game $ to buy their fleet. If you Want to spend $500 dollars, im sure that wouldnt make CIG angry, though xd

There is a lot of bugs / glitches in starfield; I also stopped playing because of them.

top of the line pc needed too for starfield, dont use console games as a argument. On my pc, star citizen runs better than starfield.

Starfield will need to rely heavily on modders to make it a great game.

Well also consider aside from the fact they are trying to go for a sim/arcade style game, everything is being designed with the possibility (regardless of how unlikely) of adding VR in the future. Which means extra focus on little details like that. Though I think for entering and launching a ship it would of been more fair to use something like the corsair or connie as they have interiors.
