Slovaks aren't racist towards skin color, or religions, or where the person came originaly from.. only thing Slovaks are "racist" in is, when somebody is slacking at work... any kind of work, when you push your load of work on other person shoulders, that is the time when Slovaks starts to be racist, we don't care about differences between colors, religions, origin, but when you don't want to work and slack on, and blame other ppl that you can't work, that is the time when Slovaks start to get angry... otherwise I think we don't really care.. :D

As someone who had a heart attack (in Germany FWIW) I know exactly your concern about a real one. I've had a handful of ER trips since. Two the first month after (2022).

I am used to buy chocolate which is either for cooking or bitter with higher content of cocoa, Kávenky only original not new flavours (not similar same brand Kakaové rezy). Brumík is sweet gingerbread with filling as far I know but ... when I have some sweet attack and do sweets and flush them with kofola or vinea it makes me very sick, so much sugar. While on a hike very good boost Like horalka and sip of kofola (or other wafer)

Slovaks don't care about being foreigner, Slovaks care if you're acting like a d*ck.. haha.. but lot of Slovaks want to have foreign friends, we are openminded, we're just reserved lot of times, we tend to be private and it's coming from our culture, we are learned to mind our own business, some ppl who were in foreign countries and are very helpful souls tend to help blindly and you can meet them sometimes, but usually when Slovak person doesn't know something you need to help with, you don't expect any help, it's not because we want to be rude, but when we think our mixing into your problem won't be helpfull in the end, we rather not "help" because we think it can get even worse... haha... that is the nature of Slovak ppl...

Born in Bratislava, parents born in Slovakia, i am born in 1986. Slovakia is going fast downhill, the population is starting to be hatefull against anything, each other. Goverment is so corupt now and Russian oriented. All the gangsters and Mafia criminals are being released from prison. If this wouldnt be my home town, i would go back to the west were i spend some time before i returned.

Mara before they turned it into a water reservoir (their house and pub they owned was located just under the white church tower).

We Slovaks are nice people especially to foreigners, we certainly have more compassion than Russians. We are not cold like the northerners. But we are crybabies and we like to complain and blame other people for our problems, just not ourselves. The bad driving is an example of the hidden aggression in our minds towards others and contempt towards ourselves. We are good people but also bad.

I do not hate them, but I hate how they behave. Many are super disrespectful and I don't understand why do they even come over here, most probably bcs they think pretty Slovak women are gonna be impressed by them. Many are so arrogant they think they can come here and that they are gonna dictate to us their rules. Btw I think Europeans in general are tired of immigrants and tourists. Europe is losing its identity and we are being replaced by foreigners. Its unfair. Btw all planned by the elites to wipe out Christianity in Europe. Its an assault on European people.

I would say there are a lot of variables here. Say you are a foreigner in Bratislava centrum and you sit in a restaurant - there is a chance that you would be charged more for some kind of service because it is expected that you have money and in centrum there is a high competition. I think this applies to many major cities Say you are a foreigner being mentioned in a news - half of the republic hate you because of political reasons such as = you speak english = you are american = we hate you Say you are a foreigner in a small village and you are about to meet locals - they are cheering and they want to know everything about you and about country of your origin. They are little bit clumsy because they might be unsure of how to behave towards you.
