So nice to meet you!!❤ He’s my surgeon. He Just did my DBS. By far my favorite doctor ever. he is a rockstar! If you’re watching this and looking for a neurosurgeon. Stop looking you just found him and you’re welcome.
To whom may ever come across this ... For some 18 years my wife has struggled with Young Onset Parkinson's disease. The journey is too long to break down here ... but let me say there were many times she wanted to take her own life. Such is the cruelty of this disease. My wife discovered a video on TH-cam featuring Dr. Krishna and Focus Ultrasound technology - she marched into the living room and said, "I want him. I want to go see him." We set it up through our regular neurologist at Asheville Missions Neurology, and made the trip to meet Dr. Krishna, and later Dr. Roque. IF you are in the south, or if you have the means, and if you have a loved one suffering from Parkinson's, please take the time to try and meet with Dr. Krishna - he and the entire UNC-CH staff are and were simply amazing. I am writing this after my wife has had the first two Deep Brain Stimulation surgeries - and we cannot extend our love and gratitude to the entire team for what they have given to us. An opportunity for a better life over the next 10,15, 20 years.
That's my uncle! ❤
