Plastic waste is one of the most existential and incomprehensible threats facing our planet in the 21st century. The Plastic Mile considers the 'journey' of an innate single-use bottle cap from cascading down a hill to being caught up in drainage systems before entering the ocean. However, The Plastic Mile aims to show that even when plastic washes ashore and there just so happens to be someone to put it in the trash, even then it is going to landfill and dirtying the soil.
