I did not expect an ASMR session when I clicked the video. You got a very mesmerizing (is that how you spell it?) voice. Anyway, I use Krita and a very silly program from Steam called Easy Pose to get my references and perspective and all that jazz. I can afford other programs but I kinda want to keep using this free program so that one day when I get good and someone whines they cant afford a fancy program I will just throw Krita at them and show them how I draw. I only used pen and paper until this June so I am still learning how to digitally draw but it's been a blast.

Hallo BeeAnne, I started subscribing the first time I saw your first video. I have a little girl, 6 years old and she likes to draw and paint but just beginning. May I know what are your suggestions she can be best hone her drawing skills? Do you suggest that I will buy her an XP Pen? Or she will start with paper -pencil?

Great review! I bought mine yesterday, waiting for it to arrive. As for drawing apps on android, I personally recommend Clip Studio Paint, they have a free option in it where you can use for 30 hours a month, which I think is a better option while Krita is in development and tends to have bugs.

3 things csp does better the layout dosnt look like straight from 2009 the brushes/assets market is god sent i got no issue with the subscription as i bought the full version on pc with all money down, but on my galaxy tab. is quite annoying. but at the end of the day both are just tools, you can make good art even in ms paint. no need of a fancy software. tools are made to help you create not to make u better

I've used clip studio for years, was happy with it until they started making us upgrade to use the more advance features, which is costing more than it is worth. there's models and other assets i can't used because i didn't shell out enough money to get past "pro" version. which sucks. Plus the animation frames they give you in Pro version is a totally Rip off,, not enough to do anything with. If you ask me they just hiding all the stuff behind paywall features. they used to not be this way. I remember when it was called Manga studio thats when it was really great. I'm seriously thinking of switching Over from RIP studio to something else. I hardly ever complain about anything but this here actually got me ranting lol

I'm a beginner artist for digital stuff (coming from pencil and paper for a long time) and my brother, who's a lot better at art than me recommended me Krita and I've been using it since. I can only do cheesy little doodles of anime characters I like so far. I also tried the mobile version of Clip Studio Paint and was fascinated by the results and I'm also looking at Photoshop as well for when I wanna step up someday.

I prefer Krita for the brush system, it feels more geared towards direct digital painting.

I bought Clip Studio Paint recently after I used Krita for like 7 years. Mainly because I want to make a webtoon and Clip Studio Paint is mainly made for comics. But oh boy... Krita is so much better when it comes to the general drawing process. Things in that Krita is better than Clip Studio (my opinion): -Amount of Brushes. -The feeling of the brushes. -The UI. -Generally more convenient. -Inserting reference images. (It's SO MUCH more better) -The mirroring tool is on a simple hotkey. -Eraser. Things in that Clip Studio Paint is better than Krita (my opinion): -Transformation tool. -3d Models. (Really good for people who suck at backgrounds like me) -Large Asset store. -Everything that has to do with comics like speech bubbles, panels, text, etc. My conclusion: Clip Studio sucks for me when it comes to just simply drawing something, but is a REALLY helpful tool if it comes to making comics specifically. Personally, I will use Krita and Clip Studio paint at the same time.

4:10 One correction, by default Krita comes with over 200 brushes (I've counted them) and you can even download more if you want on their resources page. Maybe few appear because you did not activate the others in the resources menu.

You need to do a a krita tutorial, because you were doin stuff I didn't know you could do in the software

Krita doesn't screw anyone over with subscriptions and training AI on people's work so I think the answer is obvious
