Hello, I am an OT from Turkey. I have been thinking about Telehealth OT for a while. I wonder something. If I buy tools and freebies tools, can I translate and arrange to Turkish? I mean, Is it allowed to translate to our native language for using in Telehealth?

So where do I find this PP on telehealthshare.com? Looked but didn't find. Do you keep this power point up on the screen while with the child so they also see it?

Is there a reason why the slides are more plain? Is it because its to play it safe so that the kids who are more sensory sensitive don't get distracted? Want to make my own slides, any suggestions :)?

This is a great resource, especially for us therapists that are new to teletherapy due to COVID.

Really nice! Do you have a resource or video showing how to implement the annotation feature? We are using Microsoft Teams only (per our district's mandate), so I know how to screen-share and even do PowerPoint slides. But annotation is beyond me.

This is exactly the kind of organizational help I was needing to hear, as I enter the world of telehealth as a school-based OT. I had initially been thinking individual POCs for each student (50 on my caseload!), and I was utterly paralyzed by the enormity of that. Then, with a little more research, I got to the mental place of figuring that I could do "broad categories" of interventions (selfcare, writing, keyboarding, emotional regulation, etc.) and guide the sessions with some general PowerPoints. I was delighted to hear, in the first few minutes of this video, that I'm on the right track! I even made a list of basic supplies needed for several of the activities I thought of doing to address the big areas of intervention and a checklist for families to fill out to let me know which of those supplies might already be available at home for use. Then I purchased (hopefully getting reimbursed for) supply bins that I've filled with activity-specific materials in each (pony beads, pipe cleaners, plastic tongs/tweezers, PlayDoh, etc.). So now I'm at the POC stage and really, really needed to hear this video to propel me forward. Thank you much for the telehealthshare.com link and all the resources there---- saved me tons of time! :)

Melanie, Who would have thought last summer that we would be making such a shift in service provision in the school setting? Thank you for sharing your expertise with us as we navigate these new systems. This was very helpful.
