15 years later and it's still one of my favorite shows I've ever seen. The musical cohesiveness of the pit and tenors at 6:18 is really what sets this show apart from others.

I decided to watch some shows from the past. I had never seen this particular year. 4th PLACE?! I watched the other top 3 performances and it blows my mind this didn't medal... The body, marching, arrangement, notes galore. pdd ram at 7:04 made me woo and scare my cat.

Those dynasty drums sound phenomenal

i keep coming back to this show year after year. the amount of detail in it is crazy. i keep noticing new things every time i come back to it! so many musical motifs in the second movement that are referential to the sounds of deforestation (rolls in snare break mimicks the revving of a chain saw followed by the snap of the trunk at the end of the long roll). and i just now noticed that the last form in the show is making the image of a tree from left to right. this show design is timeless.
