The Psychology Of The Pawn
The chess pawn is often underestimated, but it plays a crucial role in the game. Pawns are the foundation of a chess strategy, influencing both the structure and dynamics of the board. Though they move only one square at a time (two on their first move) and capture diagonally, their strength lies in numbers and their ability to support more powerful pieces.

The Sad Psychology of The Chess Bishop
มุมมอง 2.5K14 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
The bishop is a powerful chess piece known for its unique diagonal movement. Each player starts with two bishops, one on light squares and one on dark squares. Bishops thrive in open positions, where their long-range capabilities allow them to control multiple areas of the board. However, they can be limited in closed positions where pawns block their movement. Strategically, bishops are essent...

The knight in chess moves in an L-shape and can jump over other pieces, making it unique. Valued at 3 points, it’s strong in closed positions and great at forking multiple pieces. Knights thrive in central squares and outposts, but their slow movement can be a drawback in open or endgame positions. Key strategies include maneuvering to strong squares and exploiting tactics like smothered mate a...

Very nice video and in depth philosophy about pawn and life.
right. i sat there and watched the whole video
Love it! I can see you becoming one of my favorite chess channels! Subscribed and eager to see more!
@@hockeyjoe6669 check out my new video on the pawn. 🖤🔭
this video took me a while to make. please watch the full video and feel free to comment on any criticism. I will continue to improve my editing style for future videos to come.
You should absolutely cover the psychology of all the pieces! You earned a new sub.
thanks mate. just made 1 on the infamous pawn ♟️, check it out
Wtf is this?
"The knight's movement is one of it's most defining characteristics" The knight's movement is it's _only_ characteristic. In fact you could say the same thing about most chess pieces. That's just how chess works.
"It couldn't jump over pieces" No shit sherlock it's a bishop. If you meant it squeezing in open diagonals it makes sense, but it feels weird.
I love your style ❤
Let's also add the fact that the knight is the only piece that has never changed in terms of rules and movements. Even in the evolution of chess.
thats cool
The script feels like it has a strong AI influence, I encourage you to use your writing skills even if it's difficult eventually your content will improve a lot.
it's a group effort from us. but they tuned for our next video
Mistitled. There is no psychological element but only tactics discussed.
i like how you use ai
You just earned a sub.
Its actually an indian game focusing on war scenarios. And the horse signifies the soldiers on horse. Knight is a western word and doesn't represent anything with horse
One thing i like about knights is that it can attack without needing protection from another piece
Awesome video ❤
shite AI video
great video!!!
Thanks for the visit
"sir we don't accept Monopoly money" "GO BISHOP"
"Sir, this is a Wendy's" "GO BISHOP"
Great video but maybe you could improve on adding chess board (online or over-the-board) to your explanations as you are explaining movements on squares to aid in clarity and visualization
thank you. will do in the future.
motivation to learn the square names? (there was plenty of detail in the vid.)
I just commented something similar. It’s still a great video though!

Your audio is great but video sucks.. y don't you put the actual scenario on board when you get examples , instead of putting som spooky images.?
@@on2rampage As the title says "Psychology of Chess" it's about your mental perception of the piece. This video is more to get beginners on the right track of thought without overwhelming or unsettling them.
Well, I feel the video is actually unsettling and overwhelming. What I mean is when you talk about a bishop, just show the bishop on the board and highlight the diagonal track. People will be able to relate, instead of hearing some verbose. You can always keep defending your thoughts, but you need to think in the shoes of other people if you wear to go anywhere with this..
The Queen, the Rook, the Bishop, Stalemate, none of these come CLOSE to the PTSD potential of the Knight, the Stallion second to none.
Lovely video ty
Glad you enjoyed it
This comment is all you will ever get from me. Blocked due to ridiculous clickbait. My tip? Stick to good chess channels.
I'm new to chess, but I watch a lot of YT and I just want to say this is top-notch content and I'd love to see more creators using your smooth and charismatic style as opposed to the typical over-hyped click-baity stuff. This video's art work, music, organization, etc. are all beautifully brought together!! Well done. Please bring us more of this!!
i really appreciate this, I almost shed some tears, i will continue improving my channel.
As an Artist and an intermediate player I can agree.

why did you call it Quickest defeat?while in your video, some is magnus won the game? @ 8:19 magnus wins.
Great video, thanks! It would be great also if you could show a board and highlight the squares you're talking about, I struggle to visualise the board just in my head ♟️
Hi brother, would you mind if I ask what was your chess elo or rating? Thanks
