The final song for the weekly arrange, this was an idea I had for a while but I ended up combining more songs than I expected lol
Anyway overall this project was fun to do, some songs were kind of rushed but I'm still happy I did all of them and it was a good way to make sure I make something every week
Now that this is finished idk what I'll do next, though soon I'll be much busier and have less time for music stuff so probably not another weekly thing

I like what you did here! Gives the song a lighter feel. My only complaint is that the segments at 2:00 and 2:02 seem out of sync. The pause that accompanies them just feels wrong to me.
thanks for the feedback, I thought I copied the rhythm correctly but I just listened to the original song again and I think it delays the chords and drums with a short pause but not the melody, while I just made everything be delayed, so that's probably why

Interesting. The Piano gives off a much slower tempo than the original song. That's probably my only qualm with the piece. I wonder how other parts of the Ys X soundtrack would sound with this piano. . .
I think if I played it as fast as the original song I would make a lot more mistakes lol, I could probably practice more. also I've tried playing a few other Ys X songs on piano but haven't uploaded them yet, so maybe I will record them at some point
Heh. You're fine. I like the slow tempo of this one anyhow. listen to it in loop for several minutes and you start to appreciate the piece more.

Thanks, happy you like them. I don't really know any good tutorials but I'm sure there are lots. I recommend downloading a DAW if you haven't (I use Reason but there are free ones too) and you'll be able to find tutorials for how to use it. Though I think the best way to learn is to try to make stuff yourself. If you play an instrument or know music theory that helps too. Good luck, if you have questions you can ask me

@@p_skylandm8594 Nice, good luck. There are lots of vsts you can get online if you search for them. Some DAWs also have built in instruments, idk if Cakewalk has any but if it does it's good to start with those
