This channel is about my hobby - designing games and making prototypes in Tabletop Simulator. I have more than 60 games already designed. Most of them are shared on BGG as free PnPs. If you like something from my collection and the things I do, give me a short feedback about it.

Solo play against bot in Tennis Titans

While waiting to find someone willing to help me record a 2 player video of the game, I've made simple bot that is working pretty well. I will make it so it is possible to play against every other tennis player in the game in his bot form. Some of them will be harder to beat then others. Will find a way to mark that on their player sheets once I playtest them all. Tabletop Simulator used.

There is only a wip page. I think it had files for download and the rulebook since I was making the game for the 9 cards competition.
I just got my hands on Black Orchestra and played a game. Colonel von Stauffenberg managed to assassinate Hitler in the beginning of stage 7 with 4/4 targets rolled. It was fun, but I felt limited in what I could do much of the time. The innovations in Otpisani make it a far superior game to BO, with more interesting levers to push. Thanks again, Bojan, for creating and releasing it.

If you select all the text in the PDF and copy it in word document you can change the font.

Idk why on 17:12 I increased my Sanity instead of decreasing it by 1, but that was a mistake that I'll have to fix in the next video. I also forgot to check will crew members that were on successful mission level up their proficiencies. Again, something to do at the beginning of the next video. I apologize for these mistakes, but game is new to me, so I tend to make stupid mistakes like this.
Totally forgot few things, like rolling for Captain's Sanity and Guilt brake tests. I'll fix that at the beginning of next video.
Thank you for this video, too, Bojan. It helped clear up a few more points. Have any of the Imperium cards changed since you first put up your videos about Dune:Shadow Emissary? I saw the game board had changed in small ways.

I love it! Thanks for the awesome game Bojan! You will want to modify the victory conditions as the tonnage values are too low. In one of my campaigns, I achieved a major victory before being sunk in September 1941. I was sunk by a single veteran escort who dropped four depth charges on me and that #24 Sunk card appeared. To the bottom, we went. I had three extremely successful patrols in this same campaign, each in the 30K tonnage range. I plan to borrow some of Gregory Smith's mechanics and implement an experience point system that allows one to purchase skills. To begin with, I think that every patrol with tonnage over 20K earns you one experience point that you can use to purchase the Sixth Sense skill (3 points) for your captain. This skill will allow one fatal damage reroll and be consumed. One would need to purchase it again (if you survive that long). To date, I haven't survived past September 1941 over 6 campaigns. I'm pretty sure the #24 Sunk card got me 4 out of 6 times. I consider any patrol 10-20K to be a minor success, 20-30K successful, and 30K+ a major success. I plan to implement a relieved-for-cause (defeat) rule as well. Possibly, two consecutive patrols with tonnage below 10K. I've been playing via Tabletop Simulator but plan on printing some cards so I can play whenever/wherever. Thanks for the great game!
Thanks for the great game! I just started playing today and am enjoying it quite a bit.
Is it allowed to swap cards drawn from the Luftwaffe deck, as each is drawn to attack a R.A.F. card, to mitigate the number of bullet-holes on the card by swapping it with a card in your hand with less or even zero bullet-holes? Or the reverse procedure, when attacking Luftwaffe airplanes, to increase the number of revealed bullet-holes? I'm not talking about forming the Enemy Group, only cards drawn during an attack. If I get a Good Event opportunity, and draw one, and I also have a Good Event card in my hand that is better, can I exchange the two cards?
After you draw a card from the main deck you can immediately swap it with a card from your hand. In this manner you can exchange: - Target of the Luftwaffe - Suit of the card - Type of enemy plane - Status of the target (clear, obscured, too far) - Number of hits - Good or Bad event - Icon with a repair symbol I've done this multiple times thought the full playthrough.
@@The8OJ4N Thank you for your reply. I was about 90% sure of your answer, but unsure what time-point in which video you had the specific issue explained. and prefer the answer coming directly, anyway, so there's no room for interpretation. I also asked because being able to swap out attacking or defending cards (for bullet-hole mitigation) makes the game a *lot* easier. I played it in the correct manner for the first 10 missions, swapping cards as needed. As a result I suffered zero land-hits and only had 1 damaged wingman at the end of a successful mission. That nagged me a bit, making me wonder, just a bit, if I was doing things wrong. Seems I was not, so maybe I just got lucky. In either event, it's a very nice game, lovely in craftsmanship, and I am very much happy you have released it. Thanks again! PS: There is increasing interest at my gaming group for more Dune:Shadow Emissary! They're wanting more of it!
@@josephlevin Keep in mind that you only get 5 cards per mission. I hope you are not drawing cards before every enemy wave of attacks.
@@The8OJ4N I draw once per mission...just as you taught. :) Then if I discard to activate a R.A.F. special ability at some point, in an attack wave, as example, I do not draw back up.
@@The8OJ4N The game seems way too easy. I do not believe I am doing anything wrong as I play, but I have gone through it again, stopping at Mission 11, with zero ground hits, zero damaged planes at any time, and 64 points. I am wondering if the exchanging of a card once drawn should maybe not be done during combat, or perhaps be limited in some way?

How do you come up with so many freaking games Bojan??? It's like every week you have a new one! Not just the idea too, but graphics and TTS implementation too! You're lightning fast!
Well, it's not that I get a new game idea every week, some of the ideas are brewing in me for a month or longer, so I write them down as detailed I can, with sketches of how cards and boards should look like and they stay like that for a long time. Then, when I feel like it and have free time to spare, I start working. There are many games that are just laying around my house in notes, that might be made or not... As for fast work on graphic design and TTS it is just long time experience of making mods in TTS and working as graphic designer as my real life job.
I don't know if you've been looking at BGG lately, but I thought you ought to know that I've played several of your games with friends of mine at my local board game group, and they've all enjoyed playing them.
I just did my level best to create a rulebook for the game, though some points I had to guess at even after watching the tutorials. Do you have any interest in reviewing it?

Can you escape in stormy weather and do you have to crew battle if you win a ship battle.
Only in Clear weather you can't escape. When you are fighting a ship you have to go through ship (cannon balls) and crew battle (cutlasses).
at 4:26 why does the monster (cultist) stay? it activated, so should go to the discard pile right?
Perils are discarded, activated or not, but Monsters always stay. You have to find some other means how to remove them from the field.
@@The8OJ4N you tested the cultist and activated his terror effect and according to the rules "Also, every time Peril or Monster card is activated, it goes to the Discard pile," so the monster did activate, so why did you not discard it? Sorry I just want to play your game correctly, I really like it :)
Hello Bojan, you are such a great and creative game designer. You inspired me to create my own game. Unfortunately I don't have that much knowledge, experience or creativity. Are you interested in it? The mechanics work quite well. I can send you more by email if you are interested. It's a quick dice game for one person's luck and some strategy just for fun.

When I get an idea I work all day long, and night sometimes, using these holidays before I get into the daily job grind again. I have to work fast as my games are like dreams, if I wait too long they will dissipate and I'll forgot what was my initial idea. It's a curse and a blessing in the same package.
It is really harder than Haunter in the Dark but it feels more smooth. Don´t ask why. Feelings are crazy like in the world vom H.P. while playing. Sometimes i win quick and this feels strange and to loose feel more horrible. Thanks for that. The Artwork is so great. Only the size of the card could be smaller to fit in the normal sleeves.
Unfortunately, the extensions are for printing (front and back) and not for folding, so they differ from the original in the stack. Maybe you can adjust that. A question about the symbol Wild, for my understanding I can also use it as a joker, right? Thank you very much your games are great.
Can I also use burned cards for sacrifice?
@@dominikfaass2747 Elder sign symbol is wild, can be any other symbol. Burned cards can't be used for sacrifice, they are out of the game, unusable. There are some card effects that can return burned cards into play, but I think those effects are only in the 'Mountains of Madness' story deck.
I played it late into the night yesterday. The H.P. Lovecraft theme really gets me. It's not an easy game and I could only win once. Sometimes it felt like I was cheating. But I think I followed the rules so far. A little difficult to get into at the beginning with the rules but actually easy once you understand them. Thank you... Today I'm testing MoM

at 21:38 you say that if your hero has more strength than monster and you send it to fight, then the hero turns into a monster and goes to bottom of the deck, but according to the rules if the hero's strength is higher you simply flip monster to hero and add it to your party. apologies if I'm missing something in the explanation :)
This week I'm starting to try out the game, I'll keep an eye on BGG's wip forum to update my card archive when it's available. I've also updated the reference of the translation of the letters I'm doing for this one, just as I did for Haunter in the Dark ☺️
