But it will cancel from both the sides.

    Madam this is an easier method. (X-3)/14 + (X-2)/28 + x/56 = 1 After simplifying we will get x=72/7

      I think Gagan Pratap sir published a book for ssc cgl aspirants. Check his channel and go for it. He provided the book list in his channel. Also check whether Chandan sir ( Chandan Logics YT Channel) published any materials for maths. They both conduct courses and they both are great reference for all. You can contact them. I have some vedic maths books with me. Im now using it as reference for faster methods. Go to the nearest library, search vedic maths books and use it as your reference. I started preparing maths, all because of that. So I should mention it.

    8:31 3 square minus root 3 square = 9-3 should come But it's interesting to see what our brain does at times even after putting 9-4 also you still calculated correctly it as 9-3 = 6

      I agree, its a mistake, but no issues here, you can solve it with 80 aswell. Because you can also take multiple of lcm as total work. So, answer will be the same.

    What is the logic behind making the 16 unit equal to 64 by multiplying by 4 and how come 20 litre and 32 litre is divided??

      To add 7 : 9 and 21 : 43 ratios First you have to equalise the total components or total parts. 7 : 9 (total 7+9=16) 21 : 43 (total 21+43=64) 16x4 =64 So multiply First ratio with 4. Now total parts are equal in both the ratios. Now you can add 28 : 36 and 21 : 43. i.e, (7 : 9) + (21 : 43) = (7/16 + 21/64 ) : (9/16 + 43/64) Now lcm of denominators is 64 So multiply 16 with 4. Hope you understand the logic here. Now interms of cancelling of 20 and 32 means. When you add ratios we can cancel the common terms. Check the sum below, (7 : 9)x 4x 20 + (21 : 43)x1x32 = 16 [ (7 : 9)x5+ (21 : 43)x2] = 16 [ (35 : 45) + (42 : 86)] = 16 [ 77 : 131] = 77x16 : 131x16 = 77 : 131 Now you can see, common term 16 cancel each other in ratio addtion. i.e, common term between 4x20 and 32 is 16. So we can cancel 16. Hope you understand the logic
