Welcome to Wood Rush! Wood Rush is all about recovering lost logs from our beaches and removing marine navigational hazards from our waterways. We are committed to salvaging and processing trees that have already been cut and lost in transportation. These logs are processed into merchantable lumber and pulp wood. Any logs that are not merchantable are disposed of in a safe manner to reduce navigational hazards in our waterways. Also we are donating 10% of all profits to valued charity organizations. If you are interested in what we're doing or you have a log on your beach that you would like to see go to a good cause then please reach us at 604-741-7033 or westcoastwoodrush@gmail.com

Hello and thank you for your comment. I got to say I grew up in Gibson's. I have only discovered all the amazing adventure in our backyard. Your friend's at Wood Rush appreciate you and any comments or advice you can share. Cheers bro

Damn I apologize for missing your comment. I just worked a long twelve hour day shift. I am going to bed but I promise to respond to your comment tomorrow. Cheers your friend's at Wood Rush appreciate you and we look forward to chatting more about the amazing life style that we are privileged to experience on the west coast of British Columbia.
Yes the Inlet has amazing history and never ending adventure. We are going to the Salmon inlet in a few days . There are some great stories to be shared from that inlet. I can tell you that we will be going to the old Bible camp. Thank you for your comment and we hope you enjoy our upcoming new content Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
Loved the tour up the inlet.! Can't wait to see you two get the old Willy up and running!
Hello I hope your day is going well. I just worked a long twelve hour day shift. I am going to bed but I promise to respond to your comment tomorrow. Have a good night bro and your friend's at Wood Rush appreciate your comment and interest.
Hello and good morning, I hope your day is going well. We agree the inlet has so much history and adventure. We got to say the old Willy might be a little far gone to get running. What we are excited about is we are planning to build a giant log raft and then put on a wheel house and a small cabin. Then we will sail it through the scookum cuck and then up the Frazier river to sell the logs. It should be an epic voyage. We will also be explore the random old copper and gold mines pan them for gold and check out the old equipment and camps left behind. We hope you enjoy our upcoming new content. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush and we look forward to chatting again.
One set of tire chains all this goes away.
You should engage your fans edub and wood rush
We get your message. I feel that we started off just liking history and adventure. I feel it has got to the point where we are very happy just sharing history and adventure. We are starting to realize it can be more about us being happy about sharing. I think that we are close to having other people be interested. I will talk with Connor about engagement. Again thank you for your advice. You're friends at Wood Rush appreciate you
Hello I hope your day is going well. I talked with Connor about engagement with the audience. Can you give Us advice on the right way. I get your message and we have to realize that the show is more than Connor and myself being excited about the fun and adventure that we have. Thank you so much for reaching out. Your friend's at Wood Rush appreciates you.
Hello I spoke with Connor. We agree. Do you have any advice on how to engage the audience with out coming across as being fake . We are always looking to creating excitement for our audience.
Love the life jacket.
It's a humid environment.
That's awesome, I hope there are plans to rescue it
Hello I you are having a good day. I don't think there is any plans to restore any of the old equipment. We love finding old equipment that was used by the old school loggers. Thank you for your comment and we look forward to hearing from you again. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
Def not ww2
This vehicle is from 1943, the B&W photos are of a truck from the 60's, as it's all I could find of a logging trucking with the old water cooled break system. If you want to find what this truck looked like new, you can google 1943 6x6 military truck.
😂 you're wrong.
@@woodrush3995yea, thats why I got confused, I saw some 60s truck and I was about to say lol, it's probably a GMC 6x6 aldo it could be a M35
Love it! Nice touch with the old b&w still and video clips ! Keep em coming❤
Thanks! We had fun digging up those old photos. Appreciate the support!
Hello I hope your day is going well. Yes we always like to show visual aids to help share the story. Thank you for your comment and Wood Rush looks forward to hearing from you again. Cheers
Everybody knows as soon as the boat hits the water it floats off the trailer you stop. Clearly you don't know what you're doing why would you say you almost lost everything
Scrap it ain’t worth fixing
My gosh, this is equipment used for war and even more important logging the west coast of British Columbia. I admire the toughness and the courage of our old school ancestors. Cheers your friend's at Wood Rush appreciate you
My yacht is moored close to Molly's Reach
Great history and exploration !

We feel very lucky to live on the west coast of British Columbia to be able to share our amazing old school ways of logging and living. Your friend's at Wood Rush appreciate you and we look forward to hearing from you again. Cheers for now
I love this.
Hello I hope your day is going well. We feel very lucky to be able to share some of the old school ways of logging and life on the west coast of British Columbia. We are excited to bring you along on our next adventure. Your friend's at Wood Rush appreciate you and we look forward to hearing from you in the future. Cheers
@EWUUU666 Have you guys ever thought about milling up some of the cedar logs you find?
Yes we would like to mill the amazing beach Wood we find.unfourtunley we have to have every log scaled first. I will talk with Connor about cutting our own wood. I hope he likes your idea. Can I give Connor your information. Let him know what you think and maybe we can do that. Its up to Connor, but I would love to make lost Wood into a house. Cheers and you are welcome to come work with us in the future when you have a couple weeks off
I would like to build a log raft and then build a house on it. I would like to find a nice Bay that we could live in boom up the logs and pan for gold with the intent to possibly bring in better gold extraction equipment. Let me know what you think.
@EWUUU666 I'm actually a carpenter. I work in the film industry in Vancouver. What would be helpful for your operation is a small band mill.
LMAO 🤣😂. The reverse part is funny
Hello I hope you are having a good day. I got to say I hate when the motor does not run right. The boat mechanic was here today and he said that he will be back tomorrow to install the rebuild carbs. We sure hope he can get the boat to run properly. Thank you for your comment and we look forward to hearing from you again. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
Keep these videos coming. Great stuff.

I must start wearing my buoyancy aid in the woods, maybe I'll find cool stuff too!
Maybe you should suck my
The rest will buff out. Motörhead mentality.
That is not a world war II issue jeep that is a civilian model from 1949 with a Kaiser grille
Maybe it was used in WW2, maybe not... But that's definitely not military colors...
Take it out and restore it, it's the beginning of a new relationship.
Leave it alone
What a cute duo! “Watch out for the seaplane” 😂
Yea I got to say, Connor is always keeping us out of trouble. It would have been very awkward to have smashed into the float plane. Thank you for your comment and interest. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
Great part of the world, love the Sunshine Coast
Yes we feel very blessed to live work and explore this amazing coast. We hope to share that with the world. Thank you for your comment and interest. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
Whos the inlet raider?
@Teakspiller used to run the boat called the Inlet Raider. He would know way more than me.
Hello I hope you are doing well. The inlet raider is a large landing craft that can be hired to bring equipment into remote industrial camps. I would love to own it so we could bring in a nice cabin and all the trucks and equipment to really explore. Thank you for your comment and interest. We look forward to take you to exciting adventure Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush

Willys Jeep trucks were made shortly after WWII and were last made in the mid 1960s.
Hello I hope your day is going well. Yes the equipment we looked at where probably built just after the first world war and maybe during the next world war. On the west coast of British Columbia you need tough equipment that you could go to war with. We love to find and share all the Kool old equipment left in the bush Thank you for your comment and interest. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
These are not ww1,vehicles, the mileage is not in kms either,
Yes we agree. I believe that the equipment was built probably at the end of the first world war and all the start of the second world war. When you work on the west coast of British Columbia you need bullet proof equipment. Hard core men doing dangerous work. We feel we need to celebrate the hard old school ways of logging. Thank you for your comment and interest. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
Pretty cool stuff Ernie just love it ❤
Hello Shawn, we thank you so much. So funny when I think about all the Kool stuff that you and my self didn't know was in our backyard. We love history and hard work and we are glad you enjoyed our content. Shawn we thank you for your comment and interest. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
Former camp?Former village?
Hello I hope your day is going well. What often happened with the remote camps was you could bring your family with you to ware you work. This made them into a logging, fishing or mining camp into a little village. We apologize if we didn't explain it better. I can tell you that the west coast of British Columbia had these little towns every where. Thank you for your comment and interest. Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
They are not WW1 thats for sure
That equipment is WW 2 0:36
Been there many times on quad
Hello I hope your day is going well. I also have hiked and quaded down to the beach. I just love the big old steam donkey halfway down. What an awful road to get to this Kool old equipment. Thank you for your comment and have a good day Cheers from your friend's at Wood Rush
Very cool!
