Is there a way train Copilot on all of the content of a One Note notebook and then chat with it regarding that notebook?
Many thanks for this video. a question if I may: I have been told that there is only ONE way of importing data into our CRM (which I don't believe, hence my question) when I press for reasons they tell me it is because: "In your case, there are additional dependencies, such as inactivating Teachers or Classrooms during data uploads." doesn't it sound like a classic table structure issue? Why on earth would you have to inactivate records other than working around a bad table design? Moreover, they want more funds to create a process flow for importing...help!
I have been thinking about the idea of managing the content of what Copilot captures during meetings by helping it k ow what is an action item, what is a decision, what is an issue, what is a risk, etc. To do this - especially for important items, you would call it out during the meeint: "Yeah, that is an action item for Samuel" or "Yeah, I agree that's a risk". I also have found that Copilot will hallucinate when feed it a transcript from a meeting that was recorded by someone else. It will add people to the meeting that were not there, get the time completeely wrong, and possibly not consume all the transcript if it is long. So my final point to consider is, should every meeting close with "Thank you - final action item for Samuel is to close the meeting for Copilot." Then when I ask for action items, if that one is not given by Copilot, I know it has not consumed the entire transcript. This is early stages of thinking on this but I place it under the heading of "Getting to 100% Trust Copilot".

Is it possible for ChatGPT to respond based solely on my own document?
Not using the method in the video but generally speaking yes. Or you can use Microsoft Copilot as well. Simply drop the document and ask it to answer solely based on the information in the document.
Microsoft has done nothing special with one note copilot - it needs to be a lot better

Hello! You can totally create a GPT using Copilot Studio and integrate it in MSFT Team. If you're using M365 Copilot (Now BizzChat) you can extend it using Copilot Studio. You can also create the GPT with Copilot Studio and connect it to team as it's one of the supported channel. How come I don’t have the ‘Copilot GPT’s’ panel?
Search for ZDnet article "Microsoft scraps Copilot Pro GPT Builder and removes all user data". It was short lived and not available anymore; or maybe they renamed it to something else.
They are removing tha GPT builder (chatbots) from personal users and only making available to Commericial and Business users, greedy haha. Guess ChatGPT Plus will still have the upperhand for a while.

You can ask GPT to do some analysis to be fair, but it really depends on what you want to analyze and at what level.

Sure, actually if you're using Copilot Studio which use chat GPT as the model behind you have a lot of supported channels. Other than then, considering we are making an API call, any platform that support the integration with power automate will works.

I can locate the co-pilot feature in Word but not in OneNote. Additionally, when comparing Word's Co-pilot with ChatGPT 4.0, I find that ChatGPT 4.0 is significantly superior.
You probably use either the Web version of OneNote or the windows 10 version. Copilot is only available in the M365 version. As for the performance, after several testing I have to say it depends on the context, but I do agree that often I prefer the Chat GPT result. It's mainly due to the fact that because Copilot is part of the products there more instructions before your prompt (pre-prompt) that what you'll find in ChatGPT directly. The main advantage for an organization would be the fact that it's available directly in the user applications and that you have control over the deployment, security, analytics etc...

I'm struggling to update existing records. I've tried numerous ways and the system continuously tries to create new records and gives me an error. There is no way to flat-out choose "update" despite including those 3 initial columns. I've followed your steps exactly - what could I be doing wrong?
One difference I notice is when I go to upload my changes, the system asks me to specify a record owner but in your video it does not ask for this
nevermind...it appears to be working despite the system telling me I have 100% errors due to existing records. It will still update those existing records despite showing these errors.
there are duplicate records that did not get updated despite having the GUID
Have you found why it wasn't working? Normally, if the GUID is there it should works
@@samuelboulangerAI yes thank you. I've found the trick is if you are important records with the GUID, you should go to that object and click Import from Excel. For some reason the same file does not work if you go to settings -> import data and choose the object from there.

Hey Samuel, your video rocks! I've recently started using Dynamics 365, and I'm loving it. But here's the thing: I want to connect an Exported Excel file to our sales data in D365. So, whenever a new project is added to our sales opportunities, it automatically updates in this Exported Excel file I've got saved in a specific spot. That way, I can analyze everything for different products at the end of each month without needing to export a new Excel sheet every single time. Any advice on how to do this seamlessly?

I have a question about the excel add-in. Is it possible to add a new row to the table via Macro? Or is it only possible through clicking on the "+ New". I want to import the new rows from a user-form and publish them at the end. Thank you.

The easiest way is to use Copilot Studio instead of this method.
Will this allow me to use the Copilot features without uploading my documents (MS Word, PDFs, etc.)? I do not wish my personal files from my home computer to be uploaded anywhere..
Yes, it's taking into account the context of your web browser so it wouldn't upload any document. However, to do its magics, it's still to process the document. It means that the content of the document would be sent to Microsoft servers to generate the answer.
