Vanilla Ice and Hol Horse are VERY STRONG characters, and easy to play Hol Horse is the BEST character in the game, the best zoner in the game, he can defeat the rival with a barrage of projectiles a safe attacks, plus he has a lot of very strong mix ups with Hanged Man (the mummy-ghost like character part of his moveset) His enhanced projectiles break all other projectiles in the game (except the special/super move ones) and he does a lot of strong His only gimmick is zoning and zoning is the BEST tool in this game, you can barrage the enemy with minimal risk Vanilla Ice has simple and easy combos that do a LOT of damage, his "space void" type attacks are unblockable and impossible to dodge from a close distance, also he can erase and destroy projectiles in void mode and becomes invincible in the process He also can pummel enemies in the ground (OTG = On the Ground combos) he has the BEST OTG combos in the game Both characters are very popular and they got a BIG pick rate in tournaments and online, a lot of online tournaments ban them to prevent situations were half the players or even more pick hol horse

@@theshape3872 You should play Hol Horse and Vice to see how incorrect you are. They are not strong for what you mentioned. 236L and 236S carry risk for Hol Horse. And he is not the best character in the game in a game where Risotto, Mista and a few other characters exist. Hol Horse has high damage, amazing knockdown and strong offense, especially with an assist and frame-kills to suffocate the enemy. Shooting projectiles carry risk and if you watch gameplay of any Hol Horse, you'll see the huge risk he can incur if he continues to commit to zoning. Vice is strong - because he does have low execution and damage but not because of his S. On unblockable. If you watched the games where coolklown excels with Vice, it's far more than just damage and unblockables but the other amazing tools Vice has AND his strong gameplan upon knockdown. What tournaments besides this tournament don't allow Hol Horse of Vice? Please do not spread misinformation. And there are only 2 hol horse players in these tournaments. No one else plays him.

Just spamming projectiles when on low health and cancels all your dope combos is just disappointing

Yeah, gameplay is great, but online is dog water. Invite a friend over to play. Personally, I have enough fun with solo modes and it's still challenging enough.

Like this isn’t EVO picking only top tiers gets pretty boring and looks silly when the stakes are so low

Cool Ice is the copyright safe name for Vanilla Ice. If you have the US version of the game, most of the characters (including stands) will go by their copyright safe names but they are all the same characters. TLDR; Same character.

@OrcaDubs Japan's version through Parsec. To my knowledge, there isn't anything different between US and JPN versions other than the name.
