Im stuck on the trailers rear wheels-the metal rods are not big enough to fit in the poly caps

Step 33...im confused....there is only 2 2x55 rods...but they are to short to attach both parts R4...did you run across this?

I'm building the recovery m26 version just now and honestly can't believe how good it is! Tamiya really put some effort in to this kit compared to alot of there newer stuff! Normally I'd be swapping things for dragon parts or miniart out set's but only changing the 50 cal for a resin one n brass barrel! Tyres n wheels come out great one's all seamlines were out so just leaving them as now! Changed the jerry cans for the spares out my rfm firefly kits and added PE straps just the chain lube nippels to add and maybe led wire as springs for the leavers only 2 best kit for going together I've built for long time! It's brought the fun back! I lost my mojo with Afv clubs Achillies I done same there put it back in box and went and bought Tamiyas! It's just needing weatherd but had enough of it and the work put In is just ridiculous just to get somewhat accurate! Lol

Old video but better late than never I suppose. I'm getting ready to do the T-72A version and while it looks like a nice kit, it has some unnecessary things to do like the tiny PE disks and the fender mounted storage box straps. There's no bending lines on the straps and it's vague. They could have molded all that like Meng did on the T-90A and T-72B3/B1 kit. I have a metal 125 mm barrel by Aber for mine, which looks vicious to assemble as well.

Great job on your build. I really like the 'weathering' on the final product. Not too much but again not too little. As an avid AFV modeler, I have the advantage of having 34 years experience assigned to Armor and Cavalry units prior to my retirement from the US Army. I have seen weathering first hand on actual equipment in use and not just sitting on a pad at a museum or rusting away at the VFW. You seem to have found the correct mix. I am working on this kit at present. If you really liked working on this kit you should try the AMX30 Brennus by Tiger models. They Are almost the same but with different track and ERA.
