The Club is pleased to announce a strong financial performance for the 2023-24 financial year, achieving a 94.5% combined ratio.     That’s true. The idea of the can test is to get an indication if the cargo might liquefy. However, beware that it does not mean that the cargo is safe if it passes the test. In any case you will need a certificate issued by an approved surveyor. If the cargo fails the test you must assume that the cargo is not safe to carry

    Thanks a lot for this video. As I understand main purpose of can test to be sure that cargo is dry and in case rolling can be returned from one side to another side and will not stay on one side of cargo hold making list bigger and bigger with each punch of wave. Please advice if my friends idea is not true
