I remember back in 2015, I met JP Ricciardi at an autograph signing in Worcester, MA. He was then the GM of the Mets. He asked me what I thought about the team that year. I said the offense is great, but your pitching needs some work. "What?" he replied. What are you talking about? We have Harvey, DeGrom, and Syndergaard." He misinterpreted me...I didn't mean his starting pitching. I meant his relief pitching, and it showed when they melted down in the World Series against the Royals that year. Cool guy tho.

I could listen to Keegan all day. He's a great speaker and writer, a thoughtful dude. John, I really hope you do more baseball podcasting. I know Gibby is the star power and he's lots of fun, but maybe you could find other co-hosts/guests to keep something going (if you're not too busy with wrestling shows). Love it.

Simple what in Ohtani's mind is to want Dodgers and as much money and as possible. Bluejays is utilized as leverage since day one. His team play dirty game between to the highest bidders but he wants Dodgers so Bluejays is treated as leverage in the proc3ess. It is ugly and ridiculous bidding. Cunning Japanese

Thanks John for doing these final four episodes. This one was particularly entertaining. Ohtani is in the rear view mirror now; it’s time for management to move on and focus on getting a power bat and/or left fielder and third baseman.

What's the sense in chasing pitching when calling the game is left to the analytic weenies and not the field manager? What they need is power hitting. Vladdy needs to go. He is an underperforming, immature clown. Had Atkins had any smarts, he would've broken up the 3 Latin Amigos at the end of the bench by trading Guererro instead of Hernandez and Gurriel. The best move Shapiro can make is tying the can to Atkins and hiring a real baseball GM and a field manager. Schneider made far too many stupid decisions last season.

Losing out on Ohtani is not the worst thing in the world. Angels had both him and Trout and where did it get them last season? Good luck in the Big Apple with the Mets Gibby!
