It's actually Mathew 6:14-15 But I actually believe that God wants us to forgive everyone and that it's necessary. Otherwise why would he say "But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." He even made a parable about it so we may understand. I do this when I go to my beach place- I even (sometimes) do a 3 day fasting and it’s SO incredible. My family and friends are SPINNING out that I’m NOT going anywhere, doing anything FÜN lol or eating any good food. I meditate, grounding and I read and have some water here and there and it’s an INCREDIBLE stay for me ✨✨✨✨🩵 I highly recommend doing NOTHING once in a while- JUST “Be” ✨✨✨✨

I have walked with two friends going through terminal physical pain. Both had also experienced horrendous childhood abuse. One friend, Angie, battled lung cancer for ten years before it finally took her. She struggled through her last breath but lived her life with more joy than anyone I’ve ever known. Of course she had her moments of sadness and anxiety, recognizing the fact that she would not be around for her daughters and her husband, but she kept on “moving” with joy and pursuing God. As a result, she grew closer to Jesus and became an inspiration to me and everyone with whom she came in contact. My other dear friend has chosen the other direction. She sits and waits for God to fix her. No attempt at moving forward. As a result, she experiences no joy and she has pushed away the people in her life. Suffering is human, but there is purpose to it and I have learned from these two beautiful souls the importance of a godly mindset. That is what I took away from your message. Pastor Scott, this message is hard to hear, but thank you for the important reminder as we navigate the personal and cultural darkness around us. We will all need to keep moving in one way or another. So much wisdom in our scripture for our spiritual, mental and physical lives! Thank you for loving us enough to challenge us in this area. Thank you for lovingly acknowledging the fact that some people and some things take time, but forward movement toward Jesus is most important.
