This is an African cichlids peacock from Lake Malawi. Young male is coloring up beautifully. Breeding has started on a regular basis. 2 females holding free swimming fry in their mouths. These are a mouth brooder cichlid when spawning.

Over 200 Geophagus Brasiliensis fry from this spawn! They are feeding on baby brine shrimp twice a day. Approximately 10 days old. Parents were removed from the breeding aquarium once fry were free swimming.

Air valve installation into pvc pipe in fish room. This is a AV1E or AV1X valve from Jehmco. These require a #14 or 3/16 inch drill bit. These air valves are for matten, box and sponge filters. Great long lasting valve.

New fry recently discovered in the fish room while feeding! They include Rubricatochromis Exsul from Lake Turkana, Altolamprologus Compressiceps Black Widow, Geophagus Brasiliensis, Sewellia Marmorata Hillstream Loach, Pseudotropheus Chindongo Saulosi, then Exsul cichlids again.
Easy And Super Fast Water Changes In The Fish Room

This is how we do manual water changes in the fish room. We can dump a whole rack of tanks at the same time, then fill them up. This also works as a drain for the auto water change system by staying straight up in the vertical position. We add a strainer to the end of the pvc pipe when there are fry in the tank.

Typically how many frontosas would you recommend in a 125 gallon community tank? 🐠
Remember long term they are going to be close to or larger than 12 inches each. They strive in colony type settings together. I wouldn’t add more than 6. Karl
