There are two ways to do it. First is the sketchy XSY Unlocker patch that will let you use any V3 or V4 bank, or my preference where you can swap the *.ddb and *.ddi files from the voice banks. For example copying BigAL.ddb/.ddi into Luka V4 Straight and copying Tonio.ddb/.ddi into Luka V4 Soft (move the original files into another folder to avoid having to reinstall) Leave the *.vvd file alone or else the Editor crashes on startup. Naturally this requires owning a voice bank with native XSY compatibility on top of owning the ones you want to use XSY with.

you are going crazy. they are very similar, but pay closer attention to the pronunciation between the two and you'll hear the difference. if I recall correctly, I set the cross-synthesis to a 50/50 mix of big al and tonio, and on lower octaves big al is most dominant with tonio adding a deeper tone. as for the thumbnail the only difference is the name under the crossed out dex.

a little more information for those curious: big tonio, as a project, was originally intended to be used as an enhancement for big al before I spun it off into its own thing, so the settings I used around this time were specifically tuned to sound as close to big al as possible. my cover of monochrome (god the mixing didn't age well) actually uses an early tune of big tonio before I officially revealed him 5 months later

@@VocaPepperai art is art theft. ai programs scrape art from real artists who have spent YEARS learning their craft, only to have program steal their hard word. AI art is disgusting, its better to support real artists or ask for permission to repost/use in videos with the proper credits.

@@archerstagnys3261 no. it is. and as an artist yes it is. there is no defending AI art. im not going to let someone tell me that AI art isnt just blatant art theft. im not having this conversation or argument, because there is no argument to be had. AI COULD'VE been a great tool for artists, but with how its being used, nah. its nothing more than theft. end of.
