The single portion is the Hubli Dharwad bye pass. It's constructed by Nandi Infrastructure who were denied permission to acquire land for doubling the road.

What was the condition of the roads while travelling from Bihar to Bangalore via kharagpur, puri route? Is it better than the Varanasi, Nagpur, hyderabad route? Pls do let me know as I am planning to make the journey next month.

one very simple ques..which route has better higways,as i see this route mainly comprises of single lanes and state highways..and the route which you people took in banglore to bihar had more of NH although it was jst 200 kms longer
