OULTON PARK TWINS RACE 2 NO LIMITS RACING
Got my best start off the day off the line and was in P4 hunting down the next position in class. Unfortunately on the exit of hawthorns a rider high sided and another 2 riders went down leaving bikes and riders stranded in the track causing the race to be red flagged. We sat on the grid for what seemed and eternity waiting to get going again. We had 2 warm up laps and the race was reduced to 4 laps. I never got going in this one made the poor start like I was going to the shops and just sat at a comfortable pace to bring it home ... you guessed it another P5.
All riders were ok just a little battered and bruised.

Going into this one I knew not to expect much with my rear tyre completely done at this point so it was just run the best I could and keep it upright. No test day before this one so strait out into the deep end for 10minutes of qualifying. Great jump off the line and up with the front lads for the first couple of laps but just couldn't stick with them for the whole race. A steady launch off the line in this one (must have still had the awful race 2 launch in my head) but we got away cleanly into turn one.     Looks like that race was a bit strange after only doing 1 and 4. Coughlan appearing 2nd lap and 290 up with you. Thought Ilias would have been past you a bit quicker on his RS.

Thanks for uploading your progress,I've never ridden a bike but it must be so frustrating when your chasing the guy's in front, the temptation to brake a little later or open the throttle earlier must surely be on your mind constantly..       Already got some foam over the mic to try and help but the mic just isnt up to the job in the unit.

      @@WR3NNY Cool, thought so. Don't you find that it obscures your peripheral vision though? We bought one, but decided not to use it on track... .

      @motoquincini.45 heard a few people say this. I think it all depends on how high your helmet sits on the forehead. For me I don't notice it at all, sometimes I see an extra bit of foam I add over the mic hole but it doesn't bother me, there is generally enough going on infront/around me to keep me occupied.

    Great track .... Did my first track day here at the young age of 60 One of the best days of my life but sadly did not get any pictures The photographer did send a few through but I did not re act sadly. Anyway ride safe and have some fun !!

    Nice race. Was willing you to pass the guy in pink. You were much faster than him in the last quarter of the track. Was he on a bigger bike?? Then, too respectful to the last 2 bikes. But tip my hat to you. You're doing it, I'm watching wishing I was. It's raced in sound of thunder years back. On a 675. Everyone else on 1lt bikes. It was on Motors TV back then. haha.       Thank you for the comments. Yh the other bike was an aprillia 660 supertwin. Just didn't have the legs to make a pass. Yh watching the footage back i was kicking myself about not making a pass on the last lap.
