Not gonna lie it confuses me too. But I'm trying my best to make it somewhat accurate. I can guarantee we'll have some traffic problems with this design though 🤣

My game still crashes occasionally with the mods I use. But most of them are detailing mods - textures for riverbeds, beaches, roads, graffiti. Aside from this I use Anarchy, Better Bulldozer, and Extended Road Upgrades most frequently. For this episode I also installed Bye Bye Homeless to combat the homeless bug since I demolished so many houses.

Thank you! I just started a few months ago with no knowledge of video production, so it was a bit of a slow start. As I learn to produce better videos, I'm sure more people will discover them 🙂

my goodness, once you get into mods there's no going back... my plugins folder is nearly 6gb! but the most functional one by far is the Network Addon Mod, heaps of new transport options and you can give all those streets smooth curves 👍🏽 p.s. love that this game's 20+ years old and we're still getting new content and players.

i think sometimes districts are named after little townlets that get subsumed into the city as it grows, so if there's a prominent street you might name it after that street as if that street was the locus of a little town at one point

You can move the warehouse on the settings you are using. As a min/ maxer this video is triggering lol, woe the inefficieny lol but you dont seem like a potentially normal person just trying to enjoy a game. Much love, anno is for all lol. Agreed. I've been thinking about how to fix this issue and I'm most likely going to delete a portion of this highway and create a ring around the perimeter of the city so there are multiple entry/exit points

@@KriaComposer I think the easiest thing to do would be to reroute the highway so that it passes by the Northern part of your city and then can reconnect to the West.

Yeah it would probably be a little easier if I started with that first. I'm thinking about the long term growth since I'd like to expand the city further south and east. But that's going to take a while

Yes! Glad I'm not alone! I find it more enjoyable when I ease myself into the harder difficulty rather than trying it right away and getting frustrated when I'm not successful

I just saw a video earlier about the one coming out tomorrow. I think that'll be a game changer for me. Can't wait to see how it goes in my city once I get some mods!

I'm definitely looking forward to the asset editor. From my limited experience with the beachfront properties, I find it very underwhelming. I hope they take the feedback to heart and we get more substantial DLCs in the future.

I hadn't noticed the issue at first, but I think it's because I was recording on an ultrawide monitor and didn't adjust the settings 😅

Yeah I'm thinking it probably won't be anywhere near finished for at least another year. I'm sure especially with the help of mods that it'll be great someday, but it should've never been released in this state.

​@@KriaComposer I agree it's half baked. I was really disappointed with the overhauled "AI" traffic. I probably enjoyed working on traffic flow the most in the the first game.

​@v12dock When you sort out those traffic jams with a beautiful new road network, it's just so satisfying.

I got into the first game after binge watching all those videos of people correcting traffic issues. It's definitely satisfying!

@@v12dock being totally fair, the traffic is better, but worse than the traffic ai mod for the first game. However the main problem with traffic in this game, except for the "unsafe" ai, is that the road building is technically causing problems when used incorrectly. The roads look good, but that doesnt mean they are as one wants, which impacts traffic behaviour.

I can kind of agree with that. I enjoy the game so far but there are a few things I could nitpick about. It has great potential though!

Not yet. I'm hoping to build up the community a bit more first, but I'm definitely open to those things if people would be interested
