Great video, but for anyone watching please note that you should check the oil level on this three cylinder 1.0 litre from cold and not warm. Most other cars are checked after reaching running temp and left for ten mins. If you do that with this engine you can't see the oil level correctly.

I know it's an old video but a word of warning, never put a racing harness in a car without a roll cage for obvious reasons.

I have a 2013 model. The side lights keep switching themselves on even with the light switch off. If I turn the lights on and off again they go off. 10 minutes later they switch themselves back on again!! I suspect damp in the relay but where is the relay. Is it under the left hand head light? The running lights don't come on. Its just the small light bulb in the headlight and the rear lights.

What exhaust and back box is that and where can I find this looking for one for my c1 doing it up and can’t find a nice sounding one but not horrifically loud that it sounds dumb for a c1 cheers mate

Wow why not buy a tool to remove the filter for £5 you have made more of a mess and also use gloves decent ones and they are perfect saves all that oil on your hands

Good morning my friend below I will list the mistakes you have made, unfortunately it is enough. 1. what you do with the oil filter, is unacceptable, a good special tool, it is not expensive, to get it. 2. Do not tighten the drain screw with a torque wrench, tightening torque for Citroën c1 is 35nm. 3. you do not clean the mounting point of the new filter. 4. Do not use a funnel when filling with new oil so that you get dirty with a large amount outside. 5. you do not measure the gap in the new spark plugs. 6. during the final tightening do not use a torque wrench, tightening torque for Citroën c1 18 nm. If you do not have a torque wrench, tighten from 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock, ok ?? 7. during the final installation of the air filter, are you sure that the rubber connection of the inlet was inserted correctly in its place ?? Also the connection of the fumes was done correctly ?? And finally 8. You do not start the engine to fill the oil filter and you do not measure again for the correct oil level. These from me, my name is George, I am in beautiful Greece and this has been my job for 35 years. Listen, observe and be careful, if you love what you do, every time you will be better. Be well ...

Sorry but just get on wish or aliexpress and spend £3 on a filter tool... Or just get to halfrods. You made a good job of jacking it up but then turned into a hack job mate. BTW If you warm the engine up then you'll get more out.

I have never in all my time as a mechanic, seen anyone use a hammer and screwdriver to remove a filter. But I'm not gonna knock it lol

Sorry to inform. At 7:30 that's a huge mistake! Please go down there and release those bolts a bit. Look at the beginning of the video how the old ones were assembled. Notice the springs are not compressed! That will give you a clue. If the system is not damaged, yet, go do it ASAP. There's a reason why springs are used to assemble it. It's to allow the system to flex on it's own accord. If it doesn't flex it will break, pure and simple. The pipe being the latest, strongest and non corroded element. Imagine what will give first?! Yes, the cat...and that cost a bit more than a pipe. Whenever you've got a supposedly flexible connection. The words "rock solid" (7:56) DO NOT APPLY! LOL 😂;-)
